Hey, guys! Did you know that you have to save your macros in Gametable after making them or they go away? Like all 35 of them that I made? :facepalm:

God damn it.


I got them all made again, but wasn't that just a pain in the ass?

Hm, I think Gusto had that issue too.. I never had to save them, I don't think. :D

But now I do, just in case.

Which reminds me. Now that my main laptop won't be fixed for another week or so, I need to get on my minotaur's macros an' skills an' such.

Here's hoping I like barbarians! :falldown:

(I'm going to keep the +1 attack feat until level 2, at which point I'll get the +1 from my 1/2 level. Then I'll get 2 other feats that I feel can work together. Yeet.)

Gonna try to be there tonight, but it's all rainy, and clouds tend to kinda, y'know, block satellite signals, so if I'm not there, that's why.

It's been raining like every other day for the past 2 weeks..
 

What's the IP address and port? This way I can log in without bothering anyone. I get off of work in about 1/2 hour.

Interesting question.

I was gonna ask you to host the session as I can't get my router unblocked at the moment. Goddamn these internet issues I've been suffering for a month!

Shawnacy should be all set up to host a session, too. I was gonna ask him also.

I oughtta bring up a minor point here.

Ed had earlier said that having too many pogs in Gametable can crash it. Given that warning, I've set up two copies of the program on my computer (simply by copying the whole folder to another, differently name folder). In my DMtable, I deleted most of the pogs that came with the program (I still have the pinks in case I need such shortcuts) and just have those I intend to use at some point. It still turned out to be quite a lot!

I also happened to arrange those pogs into subfolders (such as pogs/Monsters and pogs/NPCs). to make finding them easier for me. I have no idea how these subfolders will react with y'all's programs. Hopefully I don't crash em all!

Download it, unzip it anywhere and in the unzipped folder run the .jar file. If that doesn't work, run the .bat file.

Just wanted to paste something regarding maximizing crit damage:

Only the dice you would normally roll to calculate damage are maximized. If another bonus (like from a weapon or feat) causes you to roll extra damage dice when scoring a critical hit, those dice are rolled as normal."

Since Howling Strike is 1[W] + 1d6 + [Str], and all that falls under what would normally be rolled, the 1d6 would be maxed too.

Edit: I just also remembered that I have the High Crit tag, so I would've added another 1d6 to the roll. (Though that would not have been maxed.) I have so many If This and If That abilities that I forgot nearly all of them.

Regarding that crit. Okay. Regardless, the thing still went down between your attack and the bear's turn so no harm on any of that. But damn, if we had gone by that the thing would've been dead at 0 hit points just like the ogre. You dudes should think about calling yourselves the Just Enoughs

XP: 350 each
loot: 2 gems (100 gp each) , 2 stones (20 gp each), 2 potions of healing, 2 lamps and a chunk of flint

(anybody wanna guess the reasoning behind my magic item selection?)

(Yeah, I wasn't meaning to whine about that one crit-- it's just that since it's likely I'll crit with that attack in the future, I just wanted to make sure I was splitting heads as effectively as I could. :p )

Well, being a barbarian is fun. I have to say though, spellcasting, hitting as many targets as possible, is still my primary love, but being able to do 7-23 dmg per hit isn't bad.

Yeah, great... and I had to go and make my dwarf's backstory include that he hates going underground. Bah!

Great game, glad to finally get to take part in an actually DnD group1 I look forward to next week.

Actually, the reasoning behind my magic item selection was simply: Let's give them some items that let them ignore the mundane issues like light sources.
