I thought the little green Florence flask was sufficient. I wonder why they changed it?New keyword "poisonous" applies to Emperor Cobra, Pit Snake, Maexxna, Patient Assassin, and any new cards that kill any minion they damage.
Depends on whether they add toads and such, I guess.Shouldn't it be venomous?
In addition to what @Dei said, I'm wondering if it's also one of the unrevealed adaptation options. It would make wording that easier.I thought the little green Florence flask was sufficient. I wonder why they changed it?
Well yeah, I'm mainly just playing once every 2-3 days to keep my quests done and earn my 200-300 gold/wk. I don't have a lot of game time and Overwatch and Diablo are more fun for me mainly because I don't have the temptation to spend real-life money on cards shoved in my face all the time.I mean, if you're below 20 for a whole month, then you aren't playing at all.
I used to try to make sure I hit 20 every month. But even that should be enough to get to 20, all you have to do is play in ranked mode. You don't even lose rank if you lose! Even when I stop giving a fuck for a month I make sure to pop up to 20 for the card back, but I suppose collecting the pretty things is more my schtick than yours.
That probably extends deeper from card backs and into the cards themselves. If you have a desire to own all the things, that's going to be impossible to sate when they're releasing nearly 400 new cards each year, and that could potentially lead to resenting the game itself.I used to try to make sure I hit 20 every month.
Then I realized there are card backs/heroes/etc. that you basically have to buy or convince other people to buy for you, and then I stopped caring.
Really, I think my initial desire to OWN ALL THE THINGS was destroyed the instant that I discovered certain things were impossible to obtain unless you did things like go to Blizzcon (Golden E.T.C., Gelbin Mekkatorque) or attend a tournament, and once I realized that it would be literally impossible for me to ever own all the things, I started caring a lot less about missing the monthly card back.

That, right there, is also the reason I quit playing M:tG entirely. That probably extends deeper from card backs and into the cards themselves. If you have a desire to own all the things, that's going to be impossible to sate when they're releasing nearly 400 new cards each year, and that could potentially lead to resenting the game itself.
Just to show how different my POV is, my initial reaction was "well, I haven't played a whole lot this month, or I'd be higher"I don't see what Rank 11 has to do with it, you only need to get lucky off 1 2 drop common. Plus I see Renolock at every rank.
The ladder is crazy right now, so I was playing crazy decksWell tbh, my first thought was "N'Zoth in 2017?!"
Yeah, me too, I'm also quitting Hearthstone if all we get for logging in is 100 gold, 100 dust, and four packs of cards. On one hand, 4 packs in a week is pretty good just for logging in. On the other hand, if that's all the bonus we get for the start of the new expansion, and log-in bonuses stop after that... Then it fucking sucks and Blizzard can take a hike.
There won't be an adventure with Un'Goro, but every expansion after that is supposed to include free adventure content that rewards packs.Well, they gave a bunch of free packs through quests with Old Gods and Mean Streets. Aren't they supposed to have an adventure type segment with each expansion now? I bet those have cards.
I'm more annoyed that the $50 pre buy for Mean Streets didn't have a card back.
No card back, no game board, and too early to get adventures to flesh it out. Feels like Mean Streets got a little shafted when there was a lot they could've done with the setting.I'm more annoyed that the $50 pre buy for Mean Streets didn't have a card back.
Oh really? I thought Un'Goro would be among those with side adventure-ish stuff, especially since it looks like Elise Starseeker and those kids would be adventuring into the crater. There won't be an adventure with Un'Goro, but every expansion after that is supposed to include free adventure content that rewards packs.
My pack today was screenshot worthy...At least my classic pack was more than just a 40-duster; got a warrior epic.
I think you took my pack this week
But it's all about e-sports and totally not a money grab, right?I was just about to post about the return of "Fuck you, casuals, Brawl"
