Ramona.
Ramona.
Haha, thanks guys! The convention is way over, so your vote is moot, but I did go with Ramona in the end.I'll toss my vote in for Ramona.
It sounds like your next feline cosplay needs to be Schrödinger's cat.Which, I failed so hard at the con - I took ZERO pictures of any of my cosplay. So, you'll all just have to wait for photo shoots.
Haha, I feel you. I'm so sad I have nothing to share.
I'm hoping for Female Riddler, which seems like it could be recognizable, sexy, funny, Batman (since, we all know 80% of cosplay is Batman-themed for some reason ) and not done to death already.something insane in May (I'm not gonna tell, but...prepare yourselves.)
Riddler is on my list, but that's not what I'm doing for May.I'm hoping for Female Riddler, which seems like it could be recognizable, sexy, funny, Batman (since, we all know 80% of cosplay is Batman-themed for some reason ) and not done to death already.
Thank you! There's definitely things that need fixing, but it was a good first run. =^^=Hey that Zatanna costume turned out pretty well.

Thank youuuuu!!Awesome!
Here's what you get:
I visited my friend pretty much every day at the con - she was vending, so I couldn't stay away. And she took pictures of my costumes!
She's adorable.
WE DUCK FACED LIKE NO TOMORROW.
And I am sorry you can't see my bag or hammer, which is the ONLY WAY people figured out I was Ramona. And even then...most didn't get it.
So, seconds before this picture was taken another Zatanna ran up to me, yelled in my face that 'there could only be one Zatanna!' then walked away laughing about me to her friends. And to think when I first saw her I wanted to ask her for her picture. Oh well. Con life.
So, yay! Convention pics! I'm doing a viking photo shoot in a couple of weeks, which you can look forward too as well as something insane in May (I'm not gonna tell, but...prepare yourselves.)
Do people actually get mad about other people dressing in the same character?
Unfortunately, yes. It's a really weird thing, and I find it more prevalent here vs. elsewhere. I confess, I even used to HATE it when someone cosplayed the same as me. My insecure feelings bubbled over and I felt like no one loved such and such a character as much as me so how dare they cosplay them! Or it was easier to attack someone else instead of realizing why I was feeling that way, feeling not good enough, etc etc.Do people actually get mad about other people dressing in the same character?
Just remember that when they act that way, they probably aren't meaning to be difficult about it. They're just suffering the same insecurities you were.Unfortunately, yes. But now, I think it's the stupidest thing. I actually love it when people cosplay the same character as me because it automatically gives us something common - love of the same character, but it's hit or miss whether they feel the same way. :S Anyway, it's weird and it happens quite frequently in the community.
Indeed, that's why I didn't say anything to the Zatanna, I just said 'Okay.' and then walked away. It makes it easier to...deal with? Knowing how I felt and how I acted makes it easier for me to ignore, not take offense by that kind of behavior.Just remember that when they act that way, they probably aren't meaning to be difficult about it. And you can take solace in knowing you probably wore it better
I suspect that "hctib, esaelp." may have also been a correct response.Indeed, that's why I didn't say anything to the Zatanna, I just said 'Okay.' and then walked away. ...Is "Wow" enough to say, or shall I add more exclamations of approval?
