Ugh, not this crap again.

It was kind of funny the first time, but this is the fifth year now, leave the poor beaten horse alone.

Kringus was never funny. Cute the first time the "cat in the christmas tree" joke was done, but not funny. The whole kringus vs santa claus thing, however, is just bland.

I really liked the xmen paradoy. Doctor X-mass! His psychic powers fill you with holiday cheer.

On the other hand- Cute fluffy animal vs. Santa? Didn't sluggy freelance do this one already?

Epic Christmas
— December 7th, 2009

Next week we’re starting an epic story arc. The final showdown between Scratch Fury and Santa Claus himself.

Scratch thinks he’s going to kill Santa. Santa has been preparing all year for Scratch. after last year’s battle with Jingle Force Five he knows Kringus will be coming.

We literally have a team working on these strips. Not just me. But at TEAM. There are at least, five people working on this story. Me, two story coordinators, a colorist and a second artist.

What artist you ask? Well, I don’t want to reveal JUST yet. But I will tell you this: He’s famous. Comic book famous. He’s an industry legend. And he attended this year’s Harvey Awards. Those are all the clues you’re getting right now. Don’t worry, despite a guest artist collaborating with me, this storyline will remain in PvP CONTINUITY

Okay that’s the LAST clue. Seriously.

More on this as we get closer.

Interesting..

Don't worry. Before we'll see Santa Claus with humongous muscular man-titties we'll get to see Kurt skirt with copyright with Davis and the Prairie Dogs.

My question is why is the cat wearing Dr.Strange's cape.

Is that some kind of reference to him having magical powers? I thought the cat was supposed to just be smart? Now he can fold time and space?

Kurt really should get his own references straight.

F@#$ YOU IT'S FURRY!

So, the clue is 'continuity'? Only person that leads me to is Neal Adams. Didn't Kurtz say he met Neal Adams a while ago? And he was at the Harvey awards... Seems like too big a name, but thats what the clues might suggest. Or I'm completely wrong.
Any other ideas?

Why does he feel the need to hype a story arc? The last time he did that we got Shecky and we know how well that turned out.

He hypes it for the same reason he hypes anything. He's excited about it, and wants to share his excitement.

Now if only he had a place where his fans could show their excitement at his excitement...

Anyone notice how much excrement looks like excitement?

Weird.

*Thinks back to those unholy times when he got into his first argument*

Edit: Well, it was two posts. But shit got heated, yo.

I always thought Shecky was all right.
KILL THE HERETIC...

X-Men reference last year with Santa as Prof X as i recall, so i'm guessing he's just continuing that, and as the cat is learning magic for the fight Doc Strange fits (Scratch would be more Doom though).

the worst part about the Jingle Force Five was that it was exactly the same as an episode of 'The Kids Next Door' where they fight Wintergreen (Wolverine), Nutcracker (Nightcrawler), Coniferous (Colossus), and Snow Angel (Storm). Santa is Professor X.

The only thing that made it seem original is that I doubt kurtz watches shows like that...
