I'd break my neck trying to do that lol.Yes.

Plenty of options to restrict sharing/viewing when you post something on your wall. Once you post it to a group, though, AFAIK it's subject to the group's regulations, and you can't manually change it yourself. The admin who helped me would now like me to re-post the image back to the group. Before I do, do any of you know how to restrict my posts from being shared? Some of my photography groups have turned off sharing all together. I've gone through the privacy settings on Facebook several times but I'm not seeing where this option is.
I'd personally say this one is still closer to "being taken advantage of" than "being abused". It's not OK, but it's nowhere near the same level as, for example, the volunteer work. This appears to be another case where YOU ARE BEING ABUSED.
Well done.YOU ARE BEING THERAPIED.
Wait, something seems off...
I might actually do something this year but I don't know what yet.Hallowe'en stuff is starting to hit stores already.

Christmas stuff has been in Hobby Lobby since at least June.Hallowe'en stuff is starting to hit stores already.

Yes, but that's different. When you want to MAKE something for Christmas, you have to start building it BEFORE Christmas.Christmas stuff has been in Hobby Lobby since at least June.
I'm not talking about crafts.Yes, but that's different. When you want to MAKE something for Christmas, you have to start building it BEFORE Christmas.
Hallowe'en has no excuse.

Exact same thing here. It's definitely not open yet though. The pop-up Spirit of Halloween set up a sign and storefront here in late July. That's the earliest I've ever seen one. Not sure if it's open yet, though. If it is, can't tell from the parking lot. No one is there.
I'm not being abused in this situation because I shut that shit down within an hour of it happening. I reported her to Facebook for using my intellectual property without permission, I removed my original post so that she had nothing to share on her wall any more and I blocked her so she can't steal from/leech off of me ever again. This appears to be another case where YOU ARE BEING ABUSED.
If you are thinking about software to watermark your images, you're looking for "robust" watermarking. Watermarking that is categorized as "robust" can survive being enlarged/shrunk/blurred/etc. Of course, if you just want to superimpose a giant transparent font or something, that'll work too.I may have to go so far as to make a gigantically ugly, full page sized watermark for every picture I share on Facebook going forward. What's wrong with these people?
You'll be glad you did when the triffids come fuck our shit up.I slept through the eclipse. It was cloudy and rainy here all afternoon.
I'll get my salt water hose ready...You'll be glad you did when the triffids come fuck our shit up.
...and the fucking difference?FTFY

Hey, we don't know why seawater worked. Was it the salt content? Are plankton like germs to them? I don't know if they go into the exact mechanism by which seawater hurts them in the movie, but if it's something other than just the pure salt content, then that's something you are NOT going to want to discover after a triffid has already started bearing down on you. More science is needed!...and the fucking difference?
Just want to point out that triffids were a Russian invention, the product of genetic engineering. Well, in the book. All these aliens allergic to the thing covering 70% of the Earth's surface really need to do better research.
Do you mean me??All these aliens allergic to the thing covering 70% of the Earth's surface really need to do better research.
They were made out to be aliens.Maybe they were aliens in that abomination.
Sounds like a losing battle with the nature of the platform, tbh. No setting on facebook will stop someone from just downloading your image and reuploading on their own page where you'll never get any kind of notification that they shared it. Have you considered watermarking your images? At the very least, a photo thief would be also sharing exactly where they sourced it from.I often share some of my Astrophotography images in a few local groups on Facebook. If people ask if they can share them, I usually say yes. With "ask" being the key word. I shared one recently and this person liked it, then commented "Thanks" and shared it publicly on their page! Publicly!! Not ok. I contacted the group admin and at first I don't think he understood why I was upset. He told me that I should take it as a compliment that someone should find my images good enough to share. I said no....I take it as theft that someone shared my image without permission. He is friends with the person and said that they aren't a bad person and that their wall is full of shared things that other people created/posted. That only made it worse for me. I explained that I am very unwell and that I only get out to take pictures very rarely now and that I don't like people taking without asking. I thought it was pretty ballsy of her to thank me and take it like that. It annoys me that people are let into photography groups like this one who never share photos and are only there to leech.
I think that he understood then or at least said that he did. He showed me how to report it to Facebook and sadly, my original post had to be deleted out of the group. The good news is that her post is now gone because there is nothing left to share. I also blocked her so she can't share anything else I post or worse - steal a copy of the image.

Well gee thanks, I didn't need to not go to hell for laughing at inappropriate issues anyway!Do you mean me??
