My dislocated ankle is starting to heal and I am cleared to do indoor skydiving!! www.paracletexp.com for those of you who don't know what indoor skydiving is.
I appreciate that you fixed the sharp disposal fill of broken, sharp glass... after several beers.A shot glass fell in my waste disposal while I was doing dishes and IT BROKE
so I freaked out and downed several beers in lamentation
but after an informative google search
I FIXED THE DISPOSAL AND ALL WAS WELL
Aaaah, you see the magic rests NOT in placing dainty little fingers inside the scary broken disposal of death...I appreciate that you fixed the sharp disposal fill of broken, sharp glass... after several beers.
Clever girl...Aaaah, you see the magic rests NOT in placing dainty little fingers inside the scary broken disposal of death...
but in first using a partially baked potato to pick up the larger pieces of broken glass
and in crawling under the sink with the right hex wrench and turning the disposal blades manually to dislodge any other pieces
I KNEW IT!Wait a second...
ZOOM!
ENHANCE!
Welcome to Management game!Hello, new name badge! "I'm Mister Manager!" :3
I've been in the same position since 2006, and that position has gone through 3 title changes and 4 general managers. There's been a lot of bad timing, district manager changes, and I've seen many managers come and go, and *finally* it's my time to shine! I'm excited for new responsibilities and new challenges!
Awesome. I really have to motivate myself back to the gym/swimming. I haven't been taking care of myself, and while I'm not paying for it in terms of weight because I apparently metabolise as quickly as I eat, I am paying for it in terms of energy and mood.Played Softball with a group of people yesterday. Can honestly say since I've been exercising and eating better, I've moved from a 'picked last' athlete to a 'slightly average' athlete.
HELL YES.
Uh, share brah. Or I was debating making a vegan recipe thread in the heath/advice section.Awesome. I really have to motivate myself back to the gym/swimming. Also, I got a vegan recipe a while ago I thought I should share with you; I really enjoyed it.
I'm not vegan but I'd like that, I have some vegetarian/vegan friends and I love hosting company so i like having things I can make for them. I'll get you the recipe when I get home tomorrowUh, share brah. Or I was debating making a vegan recipe thread in the heath/advice section.
Make sure you wash it before you dye it, and make sure the whole fabric is wet before you dunk it. Speaking from annoyance at my own experimentation this spring.heatherling said:I *finally* completed drafting a pattern! Between yesterday and today I drafted a pull-over hoodie and a pleated skirt. I made a mock-up of the hoodie and it came out pretty much just how I wanted! There were a few minor edits to make to a couple pieces, and now the pattern is 100%! The skirt I drafted entirely today, and because I had nothing left to do at this point, I went and picked up some fabric too! Hurrah! Now I just have to figure out how to dye this fabric and hope that it turns out okay!
You shut your mouth.I'm sorry.
I know that feeling. Far, far short of anything resembling pleasant. When you get fiberglass in your skin, you can wash most of it away, pick some of it up with tape, but the remainder just stays there irritating you for a few days and most advice ends with "...then wait it out"
I found tonight that when it's really bad, a topical anesthetic spray, like a burn spray, actually helps quite a bit.
That and some Benadryl and I'll probably be able to sleep...

This is where I am too.I'm home. I have no plans. No obligations. I am just going to lay on my sofa for like... an hour.
