Ok only 50°C but still.
We have a black cat now who has to sleep under the covers with me because it's Winter. I used to have a black cat that would burrow between the pillows on a made bed and sleep there. Wife used to have a black cat that would climb up in the window over our bed, behind the curtains, and sack out in the afternoon Summer sun while we pleaded for the A/C unit to do its job.
What I'm saying is that black cats I've known seem to have a higher tolerance (and desire!) for higher temperatures, and that's not an attempt at a euphemistic stereotype, that's just what it is.
