I don't want to brag or anything but back when me and my wife got married we went the SUPER classy route:

Calli, your dress is beautiful. I catered a wedding for a girl who had a similar type, but she didn't rock it like you do. ;)

I was apathetic about marriage/kids until I met her. I never really wanted either until I met her. She has had quite an impact on me.
I felt the same way until I met my husband. I went as far as telling people I was never having children so they'd quit asking about it. Met him and it all got turned around.

Your wedding pictures are beautiful, Doc Awk. So are yours Tin. Congratulations to you all!

Eve of May. Big thing for Finnish students, kinda like spring break and Mardi Gras put together, only with less boobies.

- Shot down the hill towards the market square. Those white hats is what we get when we graduate from high school.

- My friends Johanna and Jussi. Don't ask why he's dressed like that. The truth will hurt your brain.

- Yours truly.

- Johanna's candy bag. That poor, poor little seal cub. Not only was he cut open alive and stuffed with candy, now his insides are being devoured in open-air festivities. Oh the humility!

- Me and the girlfriend :) Well, not yet in this picture. Still a little bashful...

- And fun was had by all.

- Splitting a pizza between dances.

- RAAARGH!

- Jussi and a guy on his gay stag party.

Looks like fun, Crimson. :)

NR, she's very cute! And yeah... what's this daintily eating pizza with utensils? Madness! Doesn't look like big sloppy Chicago pizza to me... Also. Wow, that looks like one fun party to me. :D

Well, we were eating at an outdoor restaurant (well, technically the term in Finnish is "a terrace restaurant") and the pizza they served was both floury at the bottom and greasy on top (bacon & ham & hamburger meat). Plus, me and Johanna tried to be careful with out caps. Tradition dictates that it must be your own hat that you put on Eve of May - and those things are a pain to clean up.

And yes, we had fun :) I couldn't get any pictures of use playing minigolf in fluorescent lights, though. That was trippy as hell.

NR you two look nice togeter =)

...everytime I look at your pictures it reminds me SO much of a Finnish friend I had in Germany. I miss him

Tin... you're a musician, you cook beautiful works of art, you kick much ass... What can't you do?
Well, I was going to say "dance"..but BAM! here's me doing the cupid shuffle ;)

Thanks for the compliments  You know, you have your own fair share of awesome talents, I do believe...

Kung Fu is awesome, my friend and I recently started taking lessons. Tin, do you specialize in a style?
Not really. I started off my training in Quan Po and scorpion style, both of which are fairly obscure. Over the course of my life, though, I've never really stopped training. Ive taken (to greater or lesser degree) hung gar, 5 animal styles, wu shu, aikido, praying mantis, chin na, bujinkan ninjitsu, and brazilian jiu jitsu. I like learning stuff, and try to learn new things whenever I have the time and money for it. What I end up teaching is a pared-down conglomeration of what I have learned, with a focus on practical application.

Tinwhistler! What is good in life?
Conan would say: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women. Me, I prefer the women to cry loudly in an entirely different manner :whistling:

No you don't, you're married now! MWUAHAHAHAAA

Ermm.. I mean... you'll send the women of your crushed enemies over to someone single like me, right? :paranoid:

Tin (I almost feel like I should address you with ''sir''), you are everything I could ever hope to be. I say this with 100% sincerity.

Okay... How long ago did you know him? Do you recall his full name? I could see if I can find him with a little digging. No promises, though... Greater Helsinki area has about every fifth Finn, so that's a lot of people to look for. Also if he has a very common surname...

Oh, no, don't bother, I am kind of still in touch with him! thank you, though =)
I just miss having him around, you know? this many miles away is just not the same =/

I miss so many people!!
