Oh look, more GOP voter fraud...

... but this time it's against it's number one contender for the nomination.

You don't just "lose" 8 precincts worth of votes when the results are that close and a recount is inevitable. I still find it surprising that we don't have armed guards watching over the ballets after the 2000 Presidental election.

But let's assume that it wasn't willful destruction for a moment... if Romney really DID lose the Iowa primary and he loses North Carolina (considering Steven Colbert is polling higher than he is, this is a possibility)... what is the GOP going to do? Are they really going to blow their wad on a candidate their own party hates, or are they going to nominate someone else to appeal to the ultra hardliners and attempt to pacify them until 2014's Congressional elections?

There are several Christian groups who are getting together and trying to keep Romney from getting the nomination.

Frankly I hope he gets it so it makes the heads of the Christians explode.

The Mormon (Romney) versus the Christian (Obama). If they say they'll only vote for a Christian what will they do? Think that there will be a resurgence of the stupid Muslim crap from 4 years ago or do you think they'll simply engage in cognitive dissonance and ignore what they've been saying?

You realize Mormons are Christian right? I have to ask, because I have been told before that, and I quote, "Catholics aren't Christians." This was by a normally intelligent person, and there is no facepalm big enough for that kind of statement, so forgive me if you were just mocking those kinds of people.

*I* know that and *YOU* know that, but the evangelicals are painting Romney as not being a real Christian.

What will interest me is if the Democrats will use the same underhanded tactics against Romney's religion that the Republicans used against Barack (HUSSAIN!!!!) Obama....

Or against Kennedy. Which is really what makes me roll my eyes over all of it. I thought we got past these issues back in the 60s. Apparently not. Although reminding my mom about how the Pope was going to run America if Kennedy got elected got her to shut up about Obama is a muslim and made her admit that there are much much better reasons not to elect a person than their religious preferences.

Just to stir the pot, which underhanded tactic - the one where he apparently attended a church for 20 years without ever hearing a word the preacher said? Said about HIV being invented by the government to target black people, how 9-11-01 was just us getting what we deserved, said "god damn america" for building prisons, and on and on and on? :D

Whenever I speak of Gingrich on other websites, I make sure to call him Leroy Gingrich... So the racists won't vote for him.

I believe Colbert was polling higher than Huntsman, not Romney. Romney has a pretty solid lead in N. Carolina.

Actually Colbert showed an approval poll on the 18th where he had 36% compared to Romney's 35%....

But i don't think it was for just S. Carolina.
