It's crazy how much blizzard loves to just abandon ship like that. There's hope under Microsoft maybe it'll kinda not? I know some OW2 streamers are pretty excited about the upcoming changes.
I don't think it can get worse for the rank and file. Constant layoffs looming. Crunch. And of course the much discussed inability for people who work there to afford the cafeteria. Bobby Kotick got 80 million though, so even trade.
The cuts primarily affect Activision Blizzard employees.

Blizzard president Mike Ybarra is also leaving, no doubt with a severance package suspiciously close to the amount of money that could fund the payroll for 1899 ex-employees.
