Thanks to YouTube recommendations, I stumbled across a video about
Deborah Ann Woll talking to Charlie Cox about D&D. Actually, it started with a short clip from that video, then I found the full video. I fell down the rabbit hole and found
Relics & Rarities, a short series of game sessions with a revolving guest chair (for one-session players like Cox, Matthew Lillard, Kevin Smith, or others). And I found myself completely enamored by not just Woll's DM'ing abilities, but the overall presentation. I finished watching the whole thing over the weekend.
It got me thinking of finding other live D&D campaigns to watch. I know Critical Role is the king of them, so I downloaded the first season of Vox Machina, which I'm enjoying more than I expected. Given how long Critical Role has been running, I'm not sure if I'm up for watching that from the beginning. But I might seek out other live playing like it.
I found a long-standing
Rifts campaign that I might start listening to, since I grew up on Palladium games and still have a soft spot for that broken, unbalanced system. Kinda wish I could find a Heroes Unlimited or TMNT live play, but Palladium obviously isn't a popular system.
Any other recommendations, aside from Critical Role?
