[Webcomic] PVP Discussion

Kringus, I feel, is a joke that's run its course. Then staggered on for a few more laps before someone dragged it out back to be shot.

There are other ways to have a Christmas arc, without digging up the decayed corpse of Kringus.

On the subject of the current PvP arc, anybody have any idea why Skull is encouraging Scratch to be evil? I mean, has something happened recently that turned Skull from loveable kindhearted creature to douchebag?
Every Time a dwarf tongue enters a troll mouth, both parties lose their soul (and anyone watching loses their lunch). ;)

I'd be intrigued by the concept in today's strip... but no matter how interesting it starts it's just going to get cut-off prematurely in some sort of bizarre cop-out ending.

I'm happy when PvP manages to have a funny gag-a-day punchline, but storylines just cause me to roll my eyes lately, because they just don't ever live up to their promise and usually end in major disappointment.

Interest lost, despite wanting to know more about this Krampus phenomenon about which both Kurtz and Quotemander are currently writing.

Krampus is a Scandinavian... monster that punishes kids on Christmas Eve if they've been bad. It's like the Anti-Santa and basically shows up to fuck up kids who piss people off.

Ohhhh! I get it now!

Yeah, and Something Positive mentioned him years ago. Krampus is from Germanic folklore, not Scandanavian - especially Bavaria. A lot of Europe has a similar character, though - the demonic familiar of Father Christmas who punishes bad children.
