Rant VII: Now With 25% Less Drama

Great movie. (and BEAUTIFUL). The DVD's noit terribly difficult to track down either. They've always got it at HMV whenever I go in.
My dog's not really doing well. He was kind of sick one day and wouldn't keep down food so we weren't able to give him his meds. I think that contributed to him having his latest round of seizures which have been particularly bad. I really though this was going to be it when we took him into the vet just now. Luckily they want to try him on a new medication first. He was really freaked out though. It's killing me knowing that he's still there and scared and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
He's not even really out of the woods yet. This could still be it. The vet doesn't think he's in unusual pain though I guess. We'll see.

My German Shepherd Dog will be 12 shortly. And he is not getting around really well. Also it looks like he is getting cataracts and is a little hard of hearing. I look to the bright side that he does not seem to be in much pain. I just don't feel like he will see the end of 2012.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. Your dog is so adorable.
We had a bunch of friends' kids come over and decorate shortbread cookies (and eat them of course). We then posted pictures of the cookies on Facebook with details on who made the cookies. One of Christine's cousins (Older cousins, has two bitchy girls) wrote:

She has since removed it after one of the moms wrote "I think they aren't bad for being done by children - including mine." and my wife posted "Wow, that was rude."
She's far far far from my favourite cousin-in-law. In fact, in terms of bitchery, she's right up there with Imelda Marcos as far as I'm concerned. Over the years I've just mellowed so much to let shit like that slide. It sucks, I used to be so temperamental; now it's all WHOOO-SAHHH and all that crap.

Great, now I am craving short-bread cookies and coffee.
After two weeks of jerking her around, place now says they don't have a job for my wife, or 20 other people they promised jobs to. I'm not surprised they lost their government contract, if their shitty communication with my wife was any indication of how they acted with their clients.
I was about to write an epic win. I turned off my last NT4 server. Just as I sat down, a user with a mission critical computer picked up one of those fake fix programs on her computer.
I know what you mean. I'm more likely to think, "Hey, your idiocy is showing - might want to tuck that back into place" than "that's rude" these days. I feel sorry for them because they are telegraphing that they don't want to participate in these various fun activities, which naturally shuts them out.

So we found a way to keep our house. It would mean filing bankruptcy, which would push my student loans out 3-5 years. It'll cost us $500 at first and then $300 a month after that. But we keep our house.
That is, until I went out this morning and found the neighbors had called teh cops and had my car towed. Yes, it was illegal due to the plates, but with my December paycheck I got it reinsured and my January paycheck was going to pay for getting the plates current.
Now my car is gone. Merry fucking Christmas.

They've done it before. I spoke to the cops and they confirmed (even though they weren't supposed to).
Last night my father fell and broke his hip/leg. It's unknown how bad it is at this point. My mother didn't call the ambulance until this morning. So instead of Christmas I get to go to the hospital. And I have to be dropped off so my wife & kids can still go. Why? Only 1 car.
Merry fucking Christmas.

Won't be for too long, I think. Dad won't be going back home. And my mom doesn't drive nor can she stay there herself.
