"How I Keep Doing Good Deeds While Trying To Be Evil"
So yeah, I'm probably that bitch you hate at work. Over-hears everything you say from across the building with eerie accuracy. Blame my years of twitch FPS gaming I suppose. However in my pursuit of small evils, I've done some good deeds I'm not happy about.
Situation #1: Super-hot, young, fit teller girl flirts with every guy that comes into the bank. She got knocked up at 16, married young, has a jealous husband etc. To make matters "worse" he's out of shape, unattractive and has problems with her going out till 4am partying. Go figure. So why should she feel guilty with a little flirting? Well when she starts sneaking out behind his back. Turns out she's been going to lunch with a "friend" from the nearby fitness gym that banks with us, all the while telling her husband that she's out with her female friends, which she has to emphasize the "female" part. So what did Shego do? Anonymous phone call to said husband during one of her lunches as she had been taking longer and longer to get back from lunch. You'd think the girl would realize there was a gps tracker in both her phone and her huge SUV but turns out husband followed it right to the gym "friend's" house instead of Subway she was claiming to go to. How do I know how this all turned out? Because she's complaining about how she's losing everything in the upcoming split. My heart bleeds for you, really, it does.
Why is this a good deed that I'm hating? Well other than the obvious "Save a husband from a cheating wife" situation. I've known for a while she's a terrible mother. Bad mouthing her kids at every turn, degrading them in public, not participating in any schoolastic project/outing etc. All the while making fun of her husband for doing all of the things she wasn't. Note: She's already stated that there's no chance she's going to take the kids in the split.
I just wanted to see her caught red-handed. I wanted to see her money pillow disappear so she'd actually have to do more than work a part time job.
Up next: How I saved a family of 6 from a drug dealer/abuser accidently.

I think it's more along the lines of no matter how good a person you try to be, you sometimes will accidentally or coincidentally end up screwing something up for somebody somewhere, it's impossible not to. By the same token, no matter how self absorbed and venomous you act, no man is an island and at some point you will perform an action in your own interests that also happens to advance the interests of another person in a way that appears benevolent or altruistic.

So lately I've been trying to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get back on track with life. I shaved this week for the first time since my dad got sick, I was engaged at work and was finally getting out of my funk. So last night my wife and I went to the store and got dinner (steak!!) and was going to make a night of it since it WAS a holiday. Then the phone rang.
Now remember that after my dad died they took my car, right? I've been hoping to be able to buy the car that sits in my parent's garage and goes nowhere. I found out last night that my sister is putting the car in her name and yet again get fucked by my family. Let's see, my sister has a car and a motorcycle and her husband has a truck and a motorcycle. Makes sense that they need another vehicle. So I have to keep driving a 2001 Dodge Neon with 173,000 miles on it and hope it doesn't break down.
When my mom passes away I'm done with my family. Fuck em all. When I needed them I was met with either the thunderous sound of silence, empty platitudes or outright derision. I'm done. Don't ever ask me for shit, don't expect me to be around for any holidays, don't even tell me when your shitty kids pop out more crotch fruit.
And thanks for taking me right back into the depressed funk I'd been in by being total douchebags. Have a nice fucking life, you selfish pricks.

At Xenforo.com, the lead dev, Mike, has posted 9 fixed bugs in the past hour. They only do this when there's a major release coming out. They've been hinting at 1.2 coming out soon, which will include such things as advanced spam tools and an official mobile style.

How I Keep Doing Good Deeds While Trying To Be Evil: 2
So this one I pulled a short while back (about a year ago?) but I just found out about the reprocussions now. May need some of our forum police officers to help me figure out some details.
Situation #2: I had a friend for a good solid 3-4yrs. We worked together and did the "playful flirting but I know you're straight so I'm getting sexually frustrated with you" routine the first couple of years. Eventually after a particularlly fun night of drinking she joined the list of 3ways my ex and I had. Afterwards she became a regular partner for us and we still maintained our friendship. Until "he" came around. First of all, she's a mother of 4 and in her early 30s when she met this 21yr old "frat idiot". He appealed to her in all the ways she didn't need. Basically only on a physical level and nowherelse.
To avoid too long a story, he basically cheated on her 4 confirmed times (confirmed by her, forgiven each time within a month) and eventually moved in with her, despite having the maturity level of her youngest kid. Suddenly they were hosting "UFC" parties at their house with all HIS friends and none of hers. She had to cater to them all, keep her kids "out of the party room" and basically wait on them all hand and foot at her expence and that of the kids. Oh yeah did I mention she paid for everything using her own income tax returns and child support as well as her job? Yeah he worked every now and then, when he felt like it.
Despite months and months of trying to get her to see reality, she finally broke off ties with my ex and I so I finally gave up on her. Every now and then she'd text me, saying she left him and she was so dumb for leaving me out of her life etc etc, until she'd take him back and basically flip me the middle finger. So that's the set-up. Here's the Evil gone awry.
I come to find out that at these "UFC" parties he throws with his friends, it's also a big druggie get-together. They get drunk, stoned and do a bit heavier stuff. I find this out through an old mutual friend. Perfect. I have something I can use now. Sure enough, they announce another party and I make another fun little anonymous call. This time to the local PD friend that banks with us. Hoping to get him busted or at least get them fined a hefty amount. Well I never followed up with it because I just didn't care anymore after that point and I come to find out that he got tossed in and the key tossed away. Why? Turns out he was dealing drugs out of the house. Alot of drugs. Pounds and pounds of it. How she didn't get knicked (because it's technically her place) and he did I'm not sure, but he's fucked (literally ha ha!) for a long time.
Cheered me right the fuck up, till I realized th good deed. He was dealing drugs out of a house with children as young as 5 and as old as 12. Dangerous people were apprantly coming to this property all the time. There was serious danger to the children. Now I come to find out that she's moved out of that place, into a new one, and has a stable relationship with a guy who's really good to her and her kids. DAMMNIT!

AshburnerX - I did, I was so frustrated with losing a good friend to such a pathetic piece of trash. The anon call I made to report him was only about 2-3 months ago and I just found out this week about them not being together anymore, his being in jail and her having moved on. So I guess this was a continuation of that previous story.

You inadvertently fixed her life, Sheg. And saved four kids from a horrible, crime-filled, drug-induced future. In my eyes, despite your intentions, you just did the world a small favour.
Now that she's on the road to recovery, I wouldn't be surprised if you heard from her personally in the next few months. Don't burn that bridge when she wants to cross it.
Also, though I'm not a 100% proponent of the idea, I do partly believe in karma. The universe is going to thank you in some way for this.

I applied to go back to school in September. As a point of reference, I finished high school ~8 years ago, went to college for a year and a half, ended up dropping out for a couple of reasons. Applied to a University as a mature student, clearly labeled on the application. Finished the application, paid fees, got confirmation, etc. A week later, I get an email saying I never finished my application, with a contact email in case I thought there was a mistake. Sent an email, person was out of the office for a long weekend. Waited 5 days, finally got a response that basically amounted to "oh, that was a mistake, your application came in fine." Big pile of stress I didn't need, but fine.
Fast forward a month or so - I've sent them the transcripts they needed, gave them the summary of what I've done in the time I've been out of school, all good. Get an email today - note that it's Friday, so any effort to get into contact with anyone is going to be delayed again - saying hey, your application is rejected because you don't meet the requirements for a student applying out of high school. What. The. Fuck. I mean, I kind of figured this might be a long-shot anyway, but to be rejected for not meeting the requirements of someone just coming out of high school when everything about my application, including fucking COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS make it clear that I'm not fresh out of high school?
