I got to play an advance copy a couple days ago...the game's fantastic It's one of those games like Viva Pinata, where--if you're end-goal oriented in games--you'll end up losing interest, but if you just like playing around with an awesome world it'll be perfect.

Been experimenting with it non-stop

Bankers and lawyers attak you if you type in money, and take it before they do.

Put in a Giant/Troll and a Wizard, and the wizard fries them... now put a Dwarf and an elf, they stay on separate sides of the screen.

Warriors fight Barbarians, wizards fight witches, dwarves run away from orcs and griffins and a black knight kills anything.

Hydras, dragons and warlocks are in, hobbits no. Then I put in a president, then reporter, nothing happened, but when I attacked the reporter using a Wizard's staff he turned into a frog.

Tried to get a princess to kiss a frog, with no results, so I made a prince, who attacked me when I hit the princess.

Terrorist then Cop gets the cop to attack him but both explode... and put two rabbits, and theyll reproduce until you cant type anything anymore

If you go into the Edit Options screen in your User CP, you can set your message editor to "Enhanced Interface." It's at the very bottom of the page and should be what you are looking for.

*shrug* No idea, but the more I read about this game, the more I kinda wanna get a DS. Or, given that I can't afford it, I might just "legally obtain" it, but I know. It's the ROM thing to do.

I have no idea how people other than myself have obtained it before it's release but I assure you, there I would never have DOWNLOADED IT.

I do plan on buying it for reeelz tomorrow.

Don't ask me why, but it worked. I got launched up and over the tornado to the other side.

Damn... After trying everything, I typed in "hole", then jumped in the hole and when the Tornado passed over me, I jumped out of it.

Just shows how diverse the solutions can be.

Both Toys-R-Us nearby were sold out this morning, and had I thought of going myself earlier, I could've easily stopped in when they open on my way to work.

Too late now, and without the gift card bonus, it sinks down to priority of "when we have more money." Oh well...

Bah, I'm sorry about that. I agree, the gift card bonus was a big incentive to get it today even though we're not buying many games (or much else) these days either. I know it doesn't literally reduce the price, but the cards are great to save up for later.

Holy nutsweat I love this game. I laughed like a loon when I summoned a beekeeper to deal with the bee and he ran around in terror and got stung to death. And I'm not even out of the first world yet. (I'm on the last levels of both modes; have only done some of the advanced levels because I want to see more content.)

I used a frog, who ate the bee.

Then I tossed the frog to the other side of the water to keep the piranha occupied as I dove in to get the second flower.

Then I used an UFO to go to the other side.

That level was interesting. When I played it, I summoned a fly swatter and swatted the bee. Then I summoned a bear and threw it in the water to kill the fish. Afterwards, I summoned a trampoline, jumped over to the other ledge to get the flower, and then jumped back over.

My wife on the other hand, she sprayed the bee with bug spray, used a fishing pole to "fish out" the flower without ever stepping foot in the water, then she gave herself a jetpack, flew over to the ledge, then back down. That was actually her SECOND attempt, the first one she accidently caught the fish with the fishing pole, and it killed her just flopping around on the end of her stick. haha!

The last mission I remember involved two bears and a block of ice. If I dug down into the lower area, the bear would kill me, but if I broke the ice, the other bear would kill me. Also, right where the starite is located is death pit. I started out by summoning a ramp and placing it over the pit. Then I summoned an ice pick to get through the ice, but before I went through the ice, I summoned a yeti who started going all ape on the bear. I just ran past them while they were duking it out, jumped down onto the ramp and over to the starite. I love this game.

Does anyone else feel judged when they get low-style points? Like I'm trying real hard, but sometimes its just better to stick the food in a fridge to prevent the ants from eating.

As for the piranha level, I summoned a frog for the bee, dropped a toaster in the water to kill the fish, then used a jetpack to get to the other side.

My wife did something similar, but she just made a table, grabbed the sandwich, then jumped on the table. Got her the starite.

I just used a Pegasus to fly there and back, but I'm confused or did something wrong. I picked two flowers and put them in the basket, but I seem unable to complete the level. Is there another flower I'm missing? I've tried giving the girl the basket, giving her the flowers, putting the full basket in the greenhouse, and putting the individual flowers in the greenhouse, among other random things.

There are three flowers.

1 under the bee.
1 floating in the water.
1 up on the cliff.

You need to put all three in the basket to win.

I usually end a level using one less item than required, so I summon something new just to get extra points.

A good way for you to get a bonus is going to the credits, getting the developers´ names, then adding one of them every level. They make for great piranha bait.

So I now legally own the game and have been working my way through it. Some of the puzzles are made difficult simply by the fact that things don't work the way they should. I was trying to use a crane in one level to lift a box out of the way, but goddammit every time I tried to use it, it would dismount me.

My favorite strategy thus far is to glue the starite to a mouse, and then summon a block of cheese and lead the mouse to me.

I dropped a whale on the bee, then dropped the same whale on the piranha. Afterward I tried to ride the whale and jump off onto the other side but that didn't work so I spawned a space shuttle to zip over and grab the last flower.

Damn.... I gotta try that.

Man, I'm stuck on action challenge 3-2. I can't figure out a way to keep the starite from falling in the lava.

Create a cat, put him at the edge near the lava.

Connect a rope to the ice cube, then to the cat.

Put a mouse on the other side for the cat to run that way.

Put an upside down torch on the rope above the rope thats holding up the star, wait for it to burn and the cat will bring the star your way.

Actually, I saw that comic then tried it. Hilariously, it worked...insofar as it made a starite. I didn't win the level, though.
