We should encounter him again.

As we mount the crest of hill, lightning flashes as we overlook a field full of ravenous cockatrices, spearheaded by the powerful shopkeep wizard.

"DISCORDUOUS FOES! MEET YOUR END BY THE PETRIFICOUS TALONS OF THE COCKATRICE! MINIONS..... ATTAAAAAACK!"

Then an epic cockatrice battle.

And the wizard totally needs to talk like that.

Shawn's been pretty good about keeping most NPCs from being over-cheesy. The closest we've come are the dumb ones, like the bugbears, and that's because they're, well... dumb.

Well, of course. He's not only a new member to the group, but puts a slight wrinkle in our "we're saving the world, so we're entitled" actions. Not that any member of our group says that mentality, but we seem to have taken it upon ourselves, whereas when we started we were all arguing a lot more about the moral choices of our actions.

Of course, that was when Kratash was alive...

Also, my calendar says that Thursday is Orthodox Christmas, whatever the hell that is.
