That is good to hear. It might be a good contender against the current MMO "champ" I hope they decide to release soon since rumors about a new expansion is "leaked" (I forgot where I read it but it was done similar to Lich King and Cataclysm leak.)I'm running it at max settings, with no problem what so ever. This game is about as solid as an MMO can ever be. Maybe I should hold that vent meeting.
The fanatci of the game will still camp the second wave of purchase though and giving advance warning allows them and their friends/family to plan contingencies. A casually follower who doesnt follow news, etc would probably think the game is selling really well when they find its sold out and will just wait till they can buy it like they would do any other game(That they can't pirate...that was for Gas ;p.)It looks like EA is limiting availability of this game at launch to ensure people can actually get in to play.
EA confirms launch copies of SWTOR will be limited.
This is both smart and really, really stupid. On one hand, it means the game will actually be playable at launch. On the other hand, it also means that guilds, friends, and families are going to fragmented, really hurting cohesion. No one wants to be left out and no one wants to be without their friends. Why would you buy a game if you didn't know if your friends would be able to get in?
I'll do things... Things no one else will. I'll make you see god.And I can invite a friend now!
^I just ask plain and simply, "Can you invite me."
I WAS FREAKING OUT!I apparently got an invite to the the previous phase of the ToR beta, as I just got emails from them thanking me for testing. I NEVER GOT AN EMAIL FROM THEM TELLING ME I WAS IN IT. Christ man... I may not have been able to play it, but I could have at least let someone else use the account in the mean time.
EDIT: Oh wait. No I didn't. And I wasn't the only one who got that fucking email ether.

See, I was getting redirected directly to the store front... where there is no download.Did you try http://www.origin.com/us/about?
Not really, but now would be the time to bring it up. You'd need consensus on whether your playing as the Republic or the Sith.I assume that TOR will have guilds in some form or another.
Has there been any discussion anywhere of a halforum group?
