No kidding. That's why I was so panicked in Nov when I ruined my daily driver. You could see it coming even then.
I was just taking a spin through cars.com earlier today to see where prices are, and for cars (that I feel are) actually worth having*, it looks like the starting point is $15k-$20k, and that range is with me including "used" models in my search.
