For some reason I was reminded of showbiz pizza.

The GOES 14 satellite is being put through its paces with Hurricane Isaac, taking vis images of Isaac every minute at a 1km resolution.

Here's a visible satellite video of Isaac while it was still a tropical storm, from 8/24-27:



It starts south of Hispaniola, moves between Cuba and Florida and goes into the eastern Gulf.
