A two-handed sword is not the most efficient surgical tool, so I did not entertain such notions. Also I have no penchant for self-anything when it comes to bladed instruments.Man, when you mentioned contemplating your health while holding a sword, I thought the story was going to end with some self-surgery.
Admit it, you want to see his big nasty.that is an ugly man
Well, he would certainly qualify as 'golemesque'Admit it, you want to see his big nasty.
Looks like some kind of alien or monster wearing a man mask.
Edgar suit. I just love that line in MIB.
... yeah, I can see the resemblance.
For what it's worth I caught that.I was just saying it the way the wife said it....
Heh, my dear ol' mom's the same way. To the point where I actually have to tell her NOT to come over so often I know she means well, but now, in pre-surgery, half the time she just makes me think about the surgery and the tumor when I'm trying not to think about them.An Awesome Mom, I have one.
Pretty much since the moment I called her to let her know I have cancer, she came down to live with me. Even though she has been retired for ten years, she has kept busy. So she dropped Catholic Daughters, VIP's, Quilting Guilds, Dominoes Group, Poker, Boo-Ray (sp), hospital visits for church and friends, sewing neck coolers for soldiers, quilts for the local cancer center, Her new dog, and my Dad, for the last month and a half.
She has cooked, cleaned, vacuumed, washed laundry and dishes, helped my heavy ass out of bed after my operation (when I normally have to help her out of a chair on any given day,) and even played with my dog and cat when I was too sick to...
One of the biggest rewards in my little ordeal, is that I got to spend this time with my Mom as and adult. It is a totally precious gift to be able to talk so much with your parent without "Filters."
It is just a shame that there is so little that I can do for her and Dad to repay them for all the time, effort and money they have spent this month. I'll do what I can but it is a heavy debt to carry.
Daughter "Mommie, Mommie Momme, why we here Mommie?"
Wife "We're here to get wine for Gramma and Poppa's visit tomorrow."
Daughter "CAN WE GET BEER FOR DADDDDY!!!!!!"
