1. Infection - Already on antibiotics so no further care necessary.Out of curiosity, what would've been number 1 on the list? Infection?
I also moved up from in-bound calls to training when I worked for DirecTV. It was way, way.better than the slog of bills/porn rental disputes/sports blackouts.Hey, so remember when I applied for a Trainer position within my company?
I learned about a month ago that I didn't get it. Someone else more qualified applied as well. I knew the other person and it was well-deserved because they're great. I had no qualms "losing" to them.
Today, the people that interviewed me called me into their office to offer me the position again. The other person they hired is working out fine, but I guess someone else left. And...they're offering the position to me. It's a 6-month contract. No need for another interview and they'll send over an offer for me to sign.
Sooooo...yeah, looks like I'll be moving up in the company and will no longer have to deal with customers.![]()
It's not imposter syndrome, but I certainly feel that I may have bitten off more than I can chew and so I always feel underperforming

It’s real. You are a smart mf-er.Finalizing some of my classes in May and it's been a slog. It's not imposter syndrome, but I certainly feel that I may have bitten off more than I can chew and so I always feel under the gun, underperforming, or just not able to understand the end goal in some of the classes. Corporate finance which I just finished was a prime example of that. A take home exam and a research paper due, took over a month to complete, and by the end of it (I did it on Dodge v Ford, 1919 and shareholder primacy), I was just ready to be done with it.

I just burst out laughing. Still trying to figure out if it's real or not.

Well...happy birthday to me from my employer.
The training managers pulled me into their office this morning. I've officially accepted the new position as trainer. They told me my new salary: nearly $10,000 more a year than what I currently make. Also the first time I've ever been on salary.
I'd say a $10,000 a year raise is a pretty great birthday present.
