Yeah, as far as what they SAID it was designed for, it is bullshit. But everytime I see the pics for that thing, the little kid voice in my head screams out "SHUTTLECRAFT!"

I don't know if it's the passing thunderstorm, but I think my TV is out to destoy my sanity. Every button I push on any remote I have turns my TV on or off. The other remotes are even from different brands. This is just freaking weird.

Will it kill you like katsup will?
The cheap stuff might*. I am allergic to sugar beets and tapioca (used to thicken some low-fat ice creams). Also, raspberries and apples.

*well, none of my allergies will kill me quickly. It'd be unpleasant, though.

mother Mary Francis, PEZ...I for once am with makare on this. that is 32 flavors of brutal 2 scoops at a time.

I looked at the restricted sites on my work computer- facebook, bing, google, youtube, and hannahkdeefindsfeminism..... what the hell?

Isn't that how prosecutors generally work? Throw the book at'em to scare'em, then bargain down to something appropriate. The head prosecutor already said he's not seeking a prison term for the kid, which seems to mean he's not pursuing the felony count.

Well...just like the Adult Swim thing, right now it's less about what he meant, it was the way it was perceived that is the issue here. The title makes it sound like something different than it was. They make it sound like it was the doll itself that was being prosecuted. It was someone in disguise dropping a suspicious package and running that caused the uproar.

There must be a trope for this. Why is it that the Applied Phlebotinum makes everyone who gets it evil except for the good guy(s)? It's so annoying when there's no explanation for it in-universe, too.

Also in RPG video games, the standard "hit" animation should change as your THACO or BAB or whatever improves. Have they done that? I admit ignorance.

Just saying, because I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins for the first time. Pretty good, despite Morrigan and her mother's wannabe Douglas Adams pseudo-clever word games, and the fact that every female has boobs the size of their heads.

My facebook friends post pictures of every little thing they do: weekend outings, meals, beers they're in the process of drinking...

I just got back from New Orleans after visiting my brother. Didn't feel compelled to take a single picture, and it made me think about how I rarely feel the need to document my adventures with a camera. If I do, it's because it seems like something that I should do. Not interesting, just a realization that I felt like writing down someplace. Congratulations, forum!

I'm with Terrik, I'm a shutter bug. Last trip to Disney, 6 days, 2800 pictures. Some not good, some good, some very good and a few that I call great.

The one time I wanted to photograph everything was in the UK. I think my family turned me off to pictures. Some woman in our family is always trying to herd people around like cattle to arrange us into some fabricated memory to look back on. Every now and then I'll take a few, but only if I can do it without a lot of arranging and interrupting.

Candid photos are so much better.

Exactly! They're actual memories. When I look at our old Christmas cards and wedding photos, all I can think is: "Okay, squeeze in! No, get behind him. Put your arm around him! Come on, don't make that face. Smile for real!"
