Now, for the rest of the Six Most Sinister, the Victorian version of the Sinister Six. The other members already mentioned are Otto Octavius (Dr. Octopus) and the Black Cat. I'll also throw in two Spider-Man villains not affiliated with the group.

The Carrion-Bird (Vulture)
In late 1836, a young inventor named Adrian Toomes came to the attention of the elderly King William IV. Toomes' creations were remarkable; so much so that the King demanded he create a device to restore his lost youth. When Toomes protested that this was impossible, the King had him imprisoned. Not long afterward, William IV died and young Victoria ascended the throne. In all the pomp and circumstance of the eighteen-year-old girl becoming Queen, Toomes was literally forgotten. He languished in the Tower of London for fifty years, until someone finally wondered enough who the old man was who stared out the barred window of his cell at the sky. Toomes was finally released, an embittered old man whose life had been wasted in prison at the cruel whim of a king. He had spent those fifty years planning, designing, plotting his revenge. Toomes built a device that permitted him to fly like a bird, and using this he planned to bring about the downfall of the British Monarchy. His plans were stopped by the Amazing Spider, and this embittered the Carrion-Bird all the more. He soon joined forces with other foes of the Spider, to attack him together as the Six Most Sinister.

Beckman the Mysterious (Mysterio)
In the world of music halls and cheap entertainments, all magicians need an assistant to provide the tricks for their trade. One such man was Quentin Beckman. Gifted with a knack for machinery, Quentin became an expert in developing the illusions that magicians used to entertain their audiences. However, Quentin was not content with simply letting others get fame. He wanted to be a big star himself, using his knowledge of these illusions to make it big. However, despite his skills, no music hall would hire him. This was due to the fact that Quentin was somewhat dull and he lacked the dashing good looks of other magicians. Being forced to simply sit back and let others grab his fame ate away at Quentin. He wanted his share of the limelight. One day, while reading the papers, he saw of how the Amazing Spider had broken up another illegal arms auction and he realized his chance at fame. Suiting himself up with a dome to hide his face, he started a career as a villain named Beckman the Mysterious, targeting the wealthy socialites with his "magic". This brought him to blows with the Amazing Spider, who managed to defeat him in the face of his tricks. As time went by, he came to join a group of fellow villains known as the Six Most Sinister, who all had a grudge with the Amazing Spider.

The Sandman
William Baker's family lived in the Slums of England. He, his wife, and his daughter all worked in the dirty factories of London. One day, the King of Crime offered him a way out, and gave him a loan to live a good life. Baker used it for good at first, and then lost it all in a series of gambling misfortunes. His wife left him, taking his daughter with her. 1 year later, the King of Crime demanded his money, or else. When William said he didn't have the money, the King ordered his men to dispatch of him. They beat him near death. They even shoved sand down his throat, then threw him onto the side of Bleeker Street...

Baker wakes up to the good Doctor Strange. When Strange says that he healed him, William is amazed. In fact he feels like he can't feel pain at all....or any feeling for that matter. Strange says that something went mystically wrong when he healed him, and that the higher powers wanted him to have these strange, sand-based powers. Baker can't accept this, and runs away. He goes back to the King of Crime, and asks for another chance to repay his debt.....by being a new mercenary. The King of Crime recently put him in place on the Six Most Sinister, so as to keep an eye on this group.

The Sandman, as he calls himself, has powers that allow him to become a sandlike being. He also has limited powers to make people fall asleep and manipulate their dreams, but the King of Crime uses him as a brute and therefore, he doesn't practice these abilities.

The Bolt (Electro)
Professor Maxwell Dillon was widely considered to be one of the most brilliant minds of the 19th century. While Benjamin Franklin was credited with discovering electricity, Dillon was credited as being the first to have truly studied its properties in depth. Such noteriety came with a terrible price, however. Rival scientists across Europe grew envious of his growing fame and knowledge. But that mattered little to Dillon, as he continued to climb the ladder of public praise. During one evening in the winter of 1888, while working in his laboratory, 3 thugs broke in and attacked Dillon, with the means of stealing some of his valuable blueprints. In their haste, one of them knocked Dillon back into a set of electrical conductors, which electrichuted the poor scientist to near death. After the thugs made their getaway, Dillon, supposedly dead, rose up to his feet, apparently none the worse for wear. But Dillon felt quite different: as he stood looking around at his destroyed lab, he clenched his fists in anger. As he looked down, he saw that his fists were now completely absorbed in electricity. Taken aback, he released his fist and watched in horror as a streak of lightning shot out from his hand, blowing a hole in the wall. At that moment, he vowed to find the thugs who destroyed his lab and deal with them on his own.

Unknown to Dillon, The Amazing Spider had been nearby at the time and had witnessed the ransacking. Following the thugs to their hideout, he was surprised to see one of Dillon's rival scientists, Dr. Phillip R. Martin, and overheard that he was, in fact, behind the attack. As Dillon had known, many envious scientists were jealous of his discoveries, but even the Spider was shocked to see what lengths Dillon's rivals would go to. After apprehending the Doctor and his goons, he delivered them to the police, a story which made the front page of all London papers. Upon reading the papers, Dillon was furious that the Spider had interfered and captured the crooks before he had a chance to avenge himself and his work. That evening he broke into the prison that they were being detained in and, after several bolts of lightning, left their charred corpses rotting in their respective jail cells. But this was not enough to quench Dillon's need for vengeance: he now felt that he needed to deal with the Amazing Spider as well, since it was he who interfered in matters of which he had no business. Under the guise of "The Bolt" (an alter ego created to help keep his professional reputation intact), Dillon constructed a suit of his own design to help him hunt down the Spider. This way, he could make sure that he was never bothered by this menace again. Along the way, he joined up with a group of individuals (who had their own magnificent powers, like his) known as The Six Most Sinister. They too shared a passionate hate for the Amazing Spider, so The Bolt knew that it was through this band of Spider-loathers that his vengeance would be complete.....

The Hunter (Kraven the Hunter)
Russian ringmaster Sergei Kravinov was on tour with his circus in London during the summer of 1886. During his sold out performance, the Amazing Spider made an appearance, foiling the attempted kidnapping of a wealthy socialite by 2 thugs. The Spider, after delivering the crooks to authorities, began to perform stunts of death-defying ability before the crowd, as a way of getting them refocused on the show. Kravinov was astounded, and tried to get the Spider to join his circus, an invitation which the Spider promptly turned down. Knowing that such an act would add tremendous appeal to his circus, Kravinov believed that since the Spider had acquired the abilities of his namesake that spending time analyzing the habits and behaviours of his animals would give him the same abilities. He became obsessed with his new theory, and spent every waking moment with his animals. As a result, he became more and more deranged. Fatefully, Kravinov was one day brutally mauled by a pride of lions belonging the the circus after studying them too closely.

Upon recovery, Kravinov came to convince himself that it was The Amazing Spider's fault for his accident. Dressing in jungle like apparrel, Kravinov quit his job as the circus ringmaster and, calling himself "The Hunter", set out to find and confront the Spider, administering what he believed to be due justice. To this day, The Hunter has committed several brutal crimes, including the murder of a local shopkeeper, in hopes that it will coax the Spider out to do battle with him.

The Anti-Spider (Venom)
Local English journalist Edward Brockwell had become known as the premier reporter on the news of The Amazing Spider. Thousands of people enjoyed reading about the happenings of the costumed mystery every day. However, times began to slow down, and the Spider became less and less talked about. Knowing that the Spider reports were his lifeline, Brockwell decided to drum up more interest by creating his own Spider costume and attempting to make his own news. Understandably, Peter Parker was less than impressed to hear of his doppelganger, and soon set out, under his alter-ego, The Amazing Spider, to confront his twin.

Soon after, the Spider confronted Brockwell (dressed in his Spider costume) during one afternoon. Dragging Brockwell into a crowded street, the Spider removed Brockwell's mask for all to see, revealing that he was not the real Amazing Spider News of Brockwell's secret identity and antics reached his employers and they promptly fired the journalist. They interpreted his charade as the Spider as his attempt to make the paper look foolish.

Enraged and humiliated, Brockwell dyed his Spider costume black and vowed to one day expose the Amazing Spider as a menace instead of a true hero. Under the moniker of "The Anti-Spider", Brockwell used what recources he had to try and aid him in his quest to rid London of his new arch-nemesis. He vigorously trained so that when the time came, he would be able to stand toe to toe with the man who ruined his life.....

Now, for some Marvel heroes.

The Daring Devil (Daredevil)
Matthew Murdock is an Irishman trying to escape the hardships of Ireland by fleeing to England. He earned a reputation back in his hometown as an amazing club-fighter and boxer, especially for being blind from birth. This is partly due to the fact that when he was a child, he saved a secret druid grove from being burned down. Despite being a devout Catholic, the druids rewarded Murdock by enhancing his other 4 senses, compensating for his blindess twofold. Matthew used this to great advantage and discovered it made him a very proficient fighter. He trained himself in combat by fighting in bars and pubs across Ireland. The economic hardships forced Murdock to flee to England in hopes of attaining some wealth. While living in London's slums, Murdock learned he could use his special talents to combat the rampant crime plaguing London. He decided to adopt a costume while fighting crime. Deciding to use the visage of that which he feared the most (as every Catholic should) Matthew donned a red hood and facemask with horns. Armed with only a shillelagh, he prowled the streets at night, serving justice to the murderers and thugs that call London's slums their home. The newspapers began to call him "the Daring Devil", a name he chose to use as his own.

The Man of the Ants (Ant-Man)
Wealthy and brilliant, young Henry Pym seemed to have everything to live for; but the death of his young wife threw him into a depression from which there seemed no escape. At the urging of his valet, Pym spent an evening at his club, trying to find escape in human contact. Pym overheard a conversation by another club member, a writer named Wells, who theorized that ants have an intelligence equal to human beings, and are just beginning to reach their potential, much as humans were a thousand years ago. He intended to write a story on the subject, some day. This idea intrigued Pym, and he threw himself into an exhaustive study and research on the question. Finally having something to take his mind from his mourning, Pym attacked the problem with fervor. Eventually he discovered not only a method of communicating with ants, but a cellular compression formula that allowed him to achieve their size. Seeking adventure (and possibly a way to die and join his wife), Pym became the Man of the Ants, miniscule warrior against crime.

The Man of Iron (Iron Man)
Anthony Stark was the son of a wealthy business magnate. Upon his father's death, he inherited control of the company at a young age. His competitors didn't expect much from this untested whelp, but when his designs began to improve production and efficiency at unheard-of rates, they knew he posed a very real threat to their business. A cartel of Stark's competitors hired a saboteur to bomb Stark's factory, and kill Stark in the process; Stark escaped with his life, but found himself paralyzed from the waist down, unable to walk. While this experience may have finished other men, in Stark it only fanned the fires of his reserve and encouraged him to go on. Stark designed an armored suit, not unlike the one his ancestor wore at the Battle of Agincourt, but filled with complex machinery that moved his legs for him, and increased his strength twenty times. As the Man of Iron, Stark became the champion of the people and the enemy of oppressors everywhere.

Hellrider (Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider)
Gen. Jonathan Blaze was one of the best cavalry commanders in the British army. He was a master of the carbine and pistol, and loved the thrill of combat. The only thing he loved more than war, was his wife Roselyn Simpson. When a cholera epidemic struck England, Jonathan was overseas, and avoided the disease. When he returned he found his wife on her deathbed and vowed to bring her back to good health. Finding no help in science and medicine, Jonathan turned to his last resort: The Devil. Jonathan summoned The Devil and bargined his soul (which he figured to be worthless due to his life of carnage) in exchange for Roselyn's health. Within days Roselyn was back to full health and resumed her daily life. However, while at her friend's house for tea one day she was caught in a housefire. Nobody made it out alive. Furious and distraught, Jonathan resigned from the army, abandoned his home and roamed the streets. 666 days later, The Devil came back for Jonathan's soul. Imbuing him with the Spirit Of Vengance and presenting him with a Nightmare Steed from Hell itself, Jonathan must hunt down renegade souls and demons wandering the Earth as The Hellrider.

Longbow (Hawkeye)
Orphaned at an early age, young Clinton Bartholomew found work with a traveling carnival; at first doing thankless menial tasks, but soon he became attached to the carnival's performing archer. Over the next ten years Bartholomew learned the archer's craft, and surpassed him in skill, replacing him in the carnival when the older archer retired and left the carnival (upon coming into an inheritance from a forgotten relative). Billed as the Falcon-Eyed Bowman, Bartholomew thrilled audiences with his archery skill. One evening, as the carnival played just outside London, a fire broke out that quickly spread through the tents. The people were rescued by the timely arrival of the Man of Iron. Impressed, Bartholomew decided to become a masked adventurer like him. An old man known simply as Tinker, who designed and built performing automata for the carnival, helped Bartholomew to create special arrows that could perform amazing feats of use in halting and capturing criminals. On his first outing as a crime-fighter, however, Longbow was mistaken for a criminal, and forced to flee; he later found himself in combat with the Man of Iron himself, his own inspiration. But the misunderstanding was soon discovered, and the Man of Iron helped Longbow make the transition from fugitive to respected crime-fighter.

Sorceror Supreme (Dr. Strange)
Stephen Strange was a gifted, yet arrogant, surgeon. He was proficient with his tools and rose through the ranks of society, becoming a member of the upper classes. He came to be respected and renowned, yet he also came to have enemies. One of them, a rival surgeon, was so jealous that he hired a bruiser to do in Strange. Thus, one night as he was walking down an alley, Strange was smacked in the head by a metal pipe. While he had survived, the smack affected him neurologically, causing his hands to not be as careful as they once were. Despondant over his condition, Strange left the country, looking for anyone who could potentially cure him. His travels brought him to the Himalayas, where he is forced to stay in a Buddhist temple due to a snowstorm. There, he makes the acquaintance of an ancient monk, who says that he is very proficient with the mystical arts and can help him. Strange refuses, not believing in magic, when an army of creatures bombards the temple. He does his best to help out, but the monk easily defeats the creatures. Sensing the good lying within Strange, the monk heals his hands and selects him to be the world's next mystical guardian. Returning home to London, Strange uses his mystical powers to defend the world from powers that they cannot comprehend.

Prince Namor (Sub-Mariner)
Most have heard of the legends of a legendary civilization known as Atlantis. There is even a secret occult group descended from the Atlanteans known as the Inhumans. The truth, however, was that Atlantis was still around. It was merely resting at the bottom of the ocean, where the Atlanteans grew to be able to breathe both above and below water and gain incredible swimming capability. Here, the great minds of Atlantis could continue their studies, free from the prying eyes of the surface world. However, one of their own would come to hate the surface world. This man was Prince Namor Fen, who had a disgust for the surface world. In his swims outside of the kingdom, he saw how their factories were polluting the oceans. He couldn't stand to see such horrible practices, so he decided to do something about it. One day, he leapt forth from the oceans and proceeded to tear up the harbors, using his strength to defeat the people with ease. However, when the Fantast Four came to stop him, he fell in love with Roderick's wife, Suzan. In love with the very sight of her, he abducted her with the intent that she shall become his bride. However, a second battle with the Fantast Four and a discussion with Roderick and Suzan has changed his views on the surface world. He is holding off on his attacks unless his world is directly affected. He now keeps his eye on the presence of evil in the seas, though he still carries a crush for Suzan.

I'm sorry did you just reference ang lee's hulk? You realize this violates our charter.....I again apologize but I'm going to have to have you killed.

I'm kidding of course. The rest of your bio's are quite interesting but I'm a huge hulk fan and I get antsy when someone messes with hulk's origin. I like that it is the combined product of chance, and banner's own heroic act that caused him to become the hulk. Its a kind of "no good deed goes unpunished" thing that I feel gives his origin more depth.

I'd be far more interested in a banner who was attempting find a more efficient explosive compound than simple black powder for guns. Lord general Ross could fund his research from his own private fortunes looking to help out the common soldier. His assistant rick Jones could have accidentally used to fast a fuse in testing and banner could get caught in the explosion while trying to save him.
My apologies, but I can understand the desire for staying true to a character's origin. However, I felt that this angle would help with developing a fleshed-out Hulk and it ties in with the origin of Mr. Hyde. Tell you what: I'll go back and make these changes.
Hey, thanks for taking the criticism so well , I was afraid I was bit to brusque. I can see wanting to cross over Jekyll and banner, they'd fit well together considering there problems but I can see banner seeking out Jekyll's help in subduing the hulk rather than Jekyll turning banner into an unwitting subject for his experiments. Remember Jekyll was trying to produce a chemical formula to separate the good in man from the evil and thusly expel it. If you think about it, such research would be of great interest to a post hulk banner.

Don't worry about it. Besides, you are right about Jekyll. Maybe I could do Jekyll as normally helping Banner with trying to subdue the Hulk (a la Leonard Samson), while falling prey to his own experiments and transforming into Mr. Hyde.

Now, some DC villains.

Dr. Crane (Scarecrow)
Johnathon Crane was a man always mocked throughout life. With his bookish nature, raggedy clothes and thin frame, he was mocked and ridiculed, called a Scarecrow by tormentors. This teasing stayed in his memories as he grew older, becoming a medical doctor and surgeon. Working out of Amadeus Arkham's alienist hospital, he was most fascinated by the cases that suffered from night terrors. He was intrigued by the mind and how fear can grip and dominate the mind. As such, he began developing experiments to test the nature of fear. His "experiments", however, were to create a "fear grain", a powder which would cause one to have hallucinations of their worst fears. After perfecting it on the patients he kept locked in the basement, he began using the grain to seek revenge on his tormentors. When rumors began spreading throughout the universities of "a hooded man with a scythe" attacking them, the Bat-Man hunted down Dr. Crane. After defeating him and exposing his actions, Crane was locked up in Arkham's asylum alonside the very patients he had treated. However, his mind is now focused on fear more than ever, intent on bringing the Bat-Man to his knees in fear with his own group: the Crane Syndicate.

Prof. Hugo Strange
Hugo Strange was an eminent doctor. He believed in the power of the human mind, how it took this knowledge to fully understand what man could accomplish. In his studies, he ran a private hospital for the elite, where he would use a combination of medicine and machines to treat them. In particular, one combination of electrical power and pills would put his patients in a state of complete compliance, willing to do anything. Strange exploited this tactic, making them confess to the locations of their possessions or secrets they would dare not tell. Keeping these facts on file, he would provide them to criminals for a portion of their gains. However, when Wesley Dodds came to his hospital to discreetly treat some wounds, Strange found out something he wasn't expecting: that Dodds was the Sleepwalker. As time went by, Strange grew increasingly obsessed with this fact and decided that he himself wanted to be the Sleepwalker. Providing a few hired killers with Dodds' address, he intended to kill off Dodds and become the Sleepwalker. However, Wesley managed to take down the killers and began researching into Strange's hospital. He discovered that all of the members of the elite who attended Strange's hospital were either later robbed or extorted, so he went to capture Strange. Strange, however, has shut down his hospital, for he has grander plans now. While living a normal life has a private doctor for hire, he also heads the League of Injustices, a criminal empire bent on ruling London's underworld.

Looking-Glass Kryptonian (Bizarro)
One fine day, when a girl was mugged by a criminal, a powerful man came in as she was trying to defend herself. She was relieved, believing it to be the Kryptonian, until she saw his purple uniform and chalk-white skin. He promptly slapped her, saying that she shouldn't hurt another person. He then leapt away, leading to the first of many encounters with a being that the press dubbed the "Looking-Glass Kryptonian", due to his mixed-up language, his apparently-reversed understanding of crime and justice and his resemblance to the Kryptonian. Many have speculated where he could have come from. Some believe that he has come from a looking-glass world, where things are the reverse of here. Others say that he is the result of some magic ritual that went wrong. In any case, he has fallen under Prof. Hugo Strange's control, influenced into believing that heroes like the Kryptonian are villains and that they need punishment.

Cap'n Boomerang (Captain Boomerang)
George Harkness was the son of a condemned criminal exiled to Australia. Conceived and born in Australia, George had few children of his own stripe to interact with. Once he met an old aborigine whom the emigrates called Dirty Wally, he began spending more and more time with the old man. Wally taught young George the use of the bushman's weapon, the boomerang. By late adolesence George was an expert with the weapon, surpassing Wally himself. When George was nineteen, his father died, and with nothing further to tie him to the Last Continent, George sailed for England. With no skills save that of the boomerang, he tried legitimate employment in the music-halls, but his act was met with disdain and disinterest. He soon turned to crime, using his skills to steal and plunder, gathering a small gang of ruffians who called him "Cap'n Boomerang" for his skill with the unorthodox weapon. Cap'n Boomerang and his crew stayed one step ahead of the law, until the Trice cut them off in their tracks.

Per Degaton
Percival Degaton was a menial laboratory assistant employed by Sir William Preece, respected inventor and Engineer-in-Chief of the Royal Post Office. Over the years Degaton came to resent his employer's fame and renown, wanting it for himself. When Preece made important discoveries in the field of wireless telegraphy, and became the sponsor in England of the work of the Italian scientist Marconi, Degaton threw himself into similar studies, determined to outdo Preece and his Italian protege. Working from the notes of the late American criminal Miguelito Sinamor, Degaton sought to go Preece and Marconi one further and broadcast visual images as well as sound. Degaton got more than he bargained for, however, when his "wireless tele-visor" somehow pierced the veil of time itself and picked up images from the far future. The greedy and ambitious Degaton quickly grasped the potential of such a device. By tuning in on technology of the future and copying it, Degaton soon had a small army of criminal henchmen outfitted with weapons a century ahead of their time. Clad in a black militaristic outfit emblazoned with his own initial, Degaton marched his army on Buckingham Palace, intent on taking it over. While his army's sub-machine guns and laser-targeting automatics easily overwhelmed the Palace Guards, they were no match for the Society of Justice. Degaton soon found himself in a cell in Newgate, bitterly stewing over his failure. He was visited there by the Wizard, however, and the next morning the turnkeys found his cell empty...

The Mad Hatter
When she was eight years old, Germaine Tetch suffered a trauma no child should ever have to endure: she was sexually violated by a friend of the family, an adult she had previously trusted. She was terrified and traumatized by the experience, but it would only get worse: when she tried to tell her mother what the nice Reverend Charles Dodgson had done, the older woman accused her daughter of lying and beat her. From that day forward, Germaine's every waking hour was one of terror, of starting at shadows and peering over her shoulder, ever watchful lest the bad man return. And her sleep was frought with nightmares of the big man with the soft features and lyrical voice. Her terror and frustration only mounted when, under the pen name of Lewis Carroll, Dodgson became a famous author for his tales of Alice in the wonderful land through the looking glass. Finally, over twenty years after her terrible experience, Germaine's terror reached the point of madness. She decided to tell her tale to the world in a way only she would understand; she would make her violator's beloved characters into symbols of fear and terror for children everywhere. Calling herself the Mad Hatter and garbing herself after the illustrations of this character, Germaine began kidnapping children and subjecting them to terrifying visions in which Dodgson's characters were creatures of horror and death. The kidnappings brought her to the attention of the Bat-Man, who rescued the children and saw Germaine placed in Amadeus Arkham's alienist hospital, where she planned grand dreams of revenge.

The Master of the Oceans (Ocean Master)
In the middle part of the Nineteenth Century, the mysterious seaman known as Captain Nemo and his fabulous undersea craft, the Nautilus, were the scourge of the seas. Popular belief held that, following Nemo's death in 1867, the craft was sunk and lost forever; as is so often the case, popular belief was mistaken. Reluctant to allow such a magnificent invention as the Nautilus be destroyed, one of Nemo's crewmen defied his order and tried to take the submarine to a safe hiding place, where he could make plans to continue Nemo's work. However, shortly after reaching a haven at the North Pole, the crewman was seized by illness and died. Over twenty years later the submarine was found by a small polar expedition headed by a British explorer named Sir Roderick Spode. Realizing what he had found, Spode planned to turn over the submarine to the British Admiralty; however, Ormond Curry, a crewman on his expedition had other ideas. Curry shot Spode dead and claimed the Nautilus for himself, drafting the rest of Spode's expedition into his crew and slaying those who resisted. Styling himself the Master of the Oceans, Curry attempted to challenge the navies of the world and force the nations to pay tribute for use of the seas. His plans have been averted by Aquatic Man and the Society of Justice.

Giganta
From girlhood, Doris Zuehl strove for more than the standard female fare. Eschewing thoughts of marriage and motherhood she fought for the right to attend Oxford University and study her beloved animals. There she studied under the brilliant professor Alphonse Moreau, and soon became his protege and lover. Zuehl assisted Moreau in his more radical experiments, and when the truth of these came to light and Moreau was forced to leave England, Zuehl continued his work in secret. She succeeded even greater than her mentor did, discovering how to force a lower primate along the evolutionary scale in a matter of weeks, changing an ape into a homo sapien. Most of her test subjects died within days of transformation, however; all but one, a female gorilla whom Zuehl had purchased from a dishonest zookeeper. The gorilla (named Giganta by her former keeper) assumed the form of a human woman, albeit an extremely large and powerful woman. Dr. Zuehl guessed that female hormones must play some part in the success of the transformation, and became determined to solve the problem. Needing funds to continue her research and experiments, Zuehl sent the incredibly strong Giganta to steal for her. With her great strength and agility, Giganta successfully committed several thefts of homes and offices high above the London streets. Her actions soon brought her to the attention of London's crime-fighting community, and following a short battle, Giganta was defeated by the Hour-Man. Zuehl's role in the drama remained undiscovered, and prison turnkeys found it difficult to keep a woman with the strength and agility of a gorilla imprisoned.

Kapitan Kaiserreich (Captain Nazi)
In the early 1850s a German chemist named Siegmund Krieger developed a substance he dubbed "miracle food"; he believed that this concoction, if fed to an infant from birth, would cause the child to grow into a physical and mental super-man. His own son, Albrecht, was born a year after Krieger developed his "miracle food" and became its first (and only) test subject. Nourished from birth on his father's chemical compound, Albrecht grew to manhood with the strength of ten men and a keen analytical intelligence. On Albrecht's twenty-fifth birthday, the strongly nationalist Siegmund presented his son to Otto Bismarck. Impressed, Bismarck dubbed the young Krieger "Kapitan Kaiserreich" and planned to make him the spearhead of Germany's efforts to achieve their own global empire to rival Great Britain's. Keeping his existence secret for the moment, Bismarck sent Kapitan Kaiserreich to Germany's holdings in the Pacific, to strengthen the Empire's hold there. On a small island held by the Kaiser, Krieger forced a young French scientist to develop a super-weapon that would give Germany the edge in global war, using the slave labor of the island's indigenous population. This island was discovered by Aquatic Man, who attempted to liberate the scientist and the islanders single-handedly. When Kapitan Kaiserreich defeated him in battle, Aquatic Man escaped with his life and brought the situation to the attention of the Society of Justice. Kapitan Kaiserreich's might proved no match for the combined forces of the heroes; and once he was defeated, Bismarck issued a statement denying any knowledge of Krieger's activities on the island and claimed the young fanatic had been working on his own initiative. Disgraced and rejected by his own country, Kaiserreich swore to achieve his own empire to crush those of both Great Britain and the Kaiser; and found like-minded colleagues such as the Wizard and Per Degaton.

The Gentleman Spectre (Gentleman Ghost)
Jim Craddock was a feared criminal who had led a month-long crime spree. Known as "Gentleman Jim" due to his upper-class outfit and mannerisms, he was a terror throughout London because he had organized a crime wave that crippled England's marketplace. However, after a battle with the Sleepwalker, he was brought to justice and sentenced to death. He was sent to the gallows and it would appear that peace was brought back to the country. A few days after his death, however, strange sightings began occuring. People would claim that they had seen the ghost of Gentleman Jim. These notions were ignored at first, until the robberies began happening. As it turns out, it was in fact the ghost of Gentleman Jim, now choosing to be referred to as the Gentleman Spectre. Seeking vengeance for his hanging, he intends to haunt all of London and to deliver the Sleepwalker some spectral justice of his own. While he has assisted the League of Injustices in some crimes, he sees his goal as his alone.

Now, some more DC heroes.

The Hour-Man (Hourman)
After Hawley Griffin, the notorious "Invisible Man", was killed by police, his body was turned over to the Ministry of Health to see if the formula that granted him invisibility could be distilled from his corpse and improved upon, so that the Empire might have invisible soldiers without the danger of their going mad. Rexford Tyler, a young chemist attached to the Ministry, was working on this task when he discovered a special property of the chemical distilled from Griffin's blood. Isolating this property, Tyler tested it upon lab animals, and finally upon himself, and found it granted incredible strength, speed, and resistance to injury. As the effects of the drug faded away in sixty minutes, he decided not to turn over his findings to the Ministry until and unless he could solve this problem and prolong the effects of the drug. However, newspaper accounts of the activities of the so-called "men of mystery" like the Kryptonian and the Bat-Man inspired Tyler to use the drug for extracurricular activities while he sought a solution to the time element (perhaps the psychoactive effects of the chemical, which had turned Hawley Griffin into a madman, had not been completely eliminated and clouded Tyler's judgment). Soon a new name was added to those who prowled the London streets meting out justice to the criminal element: The Hour-Man.

The Star-Man (Starman)
Theodore Knight was born into money and prestige, the scion of a wealthy banking family. Eschewing the family business, Theodore pursued the study of the sciences, especially astronomy. At a gathering of the scientific community in London, Theodore met an older scientist named George Cavor. The two like minds struck up a friendship that rapidly grew in strength. One night Cavor entrusted to Knight his greatest secret: he was developing a material that he called "cavorite", which would work as an anti-gravity propellant allowing man to master the skies. He invited Knight to his seaside laboratory to view the material. Less than a week later, Knight journeyed to Cavor's lab, only to find the scientist murdered, his laboratory ransacked. (Knight would later learn this to be the work of German spies, led by the mysterious Herr Gootsden, seeking Cavor's aid in developing ultra-weapons for their Kaiser.) Knight found Cavor's notes on making cavorite, and realized it could be the component he was searching for in a project of his own. Knight used cavorite as the basis for manufacturing a modern-day "magic wand" that would draw power from the stars themselves. Using this "stellar rod", Knight became the Star-Man and hunted down Cavor's killers. He continued to use the rod in pursuit of justice, eventually joining the Society of Justice.

The Raven (Raven)
Rachel Rothman was a teenage girl living in London. She was taught to be dainty and elegant like all girls. However, she was set apart from girls her age due to her interests in all things Gothic. Whereas other girls would read from Lord Byron, she would read from Edgar Allen Poe. Overall, she was normal, if slightly odd. One day, however, during a fight with another girl over a boy that they liked, dark energy emerged from Rachel and paralyzed the poor girl. Running home, she asked her mother about her past. She was hesitant to speak, so Rachel urged her to talk. She then proceeded to tell Rachel the story of her conception. Her mother and father were desperate to have a child. Word of this spread throughout London and reached the ears of a religious cult, who forced them to make a deal with a demon god named Trigon. The deal allowed them to have a child, their dear Rachel. However, their child would have incredible powers and would serve as Trigon's servant the day that he would emerge in our world. Refusing to accept her fate, Rachel decided to go out into the world and counteract the prophecy and all such evils, naming herself in honor of Poe: The Raven.

Shazam (Captain Marvel)
William "Billy" Batson was an orphan, living in the streets of London. The only person who would look over him was Mr. Farver, who only used Billy to scrounge up money through begging. One day, while Billy was begging, he saw a cutpurse steal from a woman. Despite the fact that he would suffer a beating for his lost time, Billy chased after the cutpurse, even following him into the sewers of London. Sure that he was about to catch him, he was stopped by the presence of an old man dressed in white. Standing in front of him was the cutpurse, who simply vanished into thin air. The old man revealed himself to be a man known as Shah Zam. Back in the days of Ancient Egypt and Greece, Shah Zam was a legendary hero that was within the highest ranks of heroes. It was said that, among his qualities, he was as strong as Heracles and as wise as Solomon. However, a curse fell upon him that withered his body down to that of an old man and trapped him forever in it. However, Shah Zam used his own magic to at least preserve some of his power with the intent of passing on his abilities to a worthy successor. However, those who he had turned to would abuse their power, so he had no successor...that is, until Billy came into the world. Billy, it turns out, is the living descendant of Shah Zam and, after Shah Zam used a spell on him, he could transform into a version of Shah Zam from his peak level of skill by saying the phrase "in the name of Shah Zam". Returning to the abandoned home where he stayed, Mr. Farver began beating him for returning so late without any money. Yelling out his phrase, Billy transformed and beat down Mr. Farver, turning him over to two bobbies on their beat. Deciding to use this power for good, Billy took the name of his ancestor and condensed it to one great word: Shazam.

The Blue Beetle
Theodore Kord was a workman whose main expertise was in machinery. His job would be to keep up the maintenance of machines and make improvements to the machinery when necessary. The work was alright, but he wanted to do more with his life. In fact, he wanted to help the public like the mysery men talked about in the papers. He mentioned this idea to his fellow factory worker, Bruce Wayne, but he merely told him that such a life would have to be a dangerous one. Theodore accepted this fact with some sadness. One night, when he was still in the factory, Theodore was working on the machines when the Bat-Man and a few criminals fell through the glass ceiling. Taking him aside to check for any wounds, Theodore moved the mask and was shocked when he saw that it was Bruce Wayne who was the legendary defender. He promised that he would never tell a soul of what he saw and, inspired by the achievements of his fellow workman, decided to become a hero himself. He used his skills to construct a body armor to protect from bullets. He also developed a gun that fired bullets that exploded on contact, thus knocking out or knocking back criminals. While trying to decide upon his name, however, he was stuck. Then, he saw a small beetle crawling along his workbench. He settled on his name and began his pursuit of justice under the name of the Blue Beetle.

Goldenrod (Booster Gold)
Michael Carter was a rising cricket star until he started throwing games, so he could make money by betting on them. When his actions were discovered Michael was banned from professional cricket and was forced into the life of a dock worker. Only later would the story come out that the money that Carter won was used to pay a physician who was caring for Carter's dying mother. No longer able to afford a doctor Carter's mother passed and Michael began a horrible spiral in his life that ended when he discovered an odd crate at the docks one day that no one could account for. Inside the crate was a technologically advanced suit that gave Carter super strength, flight, and the ability to fire force blasts. Using this gold suit to become the hero Goldenrod, Carter quickly became one of London's most popular heroes and began to make money advertising for various products. In his heroic ventures Carter often teams with the Blue Beetle, and the two men, Carter & Kord, are good friends out of costume as well.

Now, time for the Victorian take on the Brotherhood of Mutants: the Brotherhood of Evil.

The Toad
Life was cruel for Mortimer Toynbee. He had been born a freak and abandoned by his parents, who were horrified by his look. Growing up on the streets, he came to suffer abuse at the hands of the various street gangs that he had tried to join. They all merely beat him up and mocked him, calling him "The Toad of Fleet Street". Indeed, he was akin to a toad, with regards to the fact that he could leap far and had a complexion much like their skin. Poor Mortimer could do nothing to change his fate. One day, however, things changed. He was discovered by the supervillain Magnetus, who believed that this poor scum from the streets could at least serve as a good tool. He invited Mortimer to join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Evil and get vengeance for how he has been treated by society. He accepted excitedly. He didn't care that the rest of the Brotherhood, including Magnetus himself, has a disdain for his sycophantic attitude. He just liked the fact that he could finally take that insulting name, Toad, and put some fear behind it.

Raven Darkhelm (Mystique)
Raven Darkhelm was the most well-known woman of the streets in all of London. But she would secretly murder most of her clients to satisfy a sick sense of enjoyment she possessed. Never actually holding on to one identity or name, she would move from town to town, brothel to brothel, always becoming an entirely new person the next morning.

When the supervillain Magnetus came searching for recruits into his Brotherhood of Evil, she was enticed by his loose restrictions on violence and promises of many, many victims. Raven Darkhelm became the sharpshooter and spy of the group, always ready to snipe and sleep with (not necessarily in that order) any target of the Brotherhood of Evil.

The Blob
Frederick J. Dukes, the man otherwise known as the "Blob", always felt that he was better than how people saw him. Cursed with a girth that seemed to grow as he got older, he thought of himself as a powerful and impressive soul. Others, however, didn't see that. They just saw a fat man who was perfect for ridicule. No matter where he went, no matter where he ate, people would always laugh and mock his exterior. One night, when a particular heckler made one too many remarks about his weight, Dukes promptly broke the man in half. Raven Darkhelm, an agent for the Supervillain Magnetus, witnessed this event, and invited the man to join the Brotherhood of Evil, saying that he could do whatever he wished to whomever made so much as a comment about his weight.

The Illusionist (Mastermind)
When Jason Wyngarde was 10 years old, he discovered that he had an unusual talent. After getting picked on by some boys because of his more gentle nature, the boys suddenly panicked and ran off, believing that they were encircled by bees. He realized that he could create illusions in people's minds that felt real to them. He started practicing his talents on his own, refining his gift. However, his upper-class parents would punish him if they caught him using his power. They considered him to be a freak and that he should be normal. He grew to resent them and, on his 21th birthday, he filled their heads with terrifying visions, causing them to commit suicide. After inheriting their wealth, he became a success by posing as a hypnotist known as "The Illusionist". In truth, he used his powers to fulfill his greed of money and women. Eventually, word of his talents reached the ears of Magnetus, who sent Raven Darkhelm to recruit Jason. Jason happily obliged, up for taking on a real challenge for his powers.

The Flame (Pyro)
From birth, John Allerdyce had always felt akin to fire. Its crackling flames and sparkling beauty sent him into a trance whenever he laid his eyes on it. His passion soon began to turn into obsession when his parents caught him fooling around with candles. After severe discipline, John was harshly instructed on the dangers of fire and its potentially devestating effects. However, the advice fell on deaf ears, as John's obsession had already peaked. One winter's eve just after everyone had gone to sleep, John pulled out his matches and began to light them. It was at that moment that John, reaching out to touch the hypnotic flame, realized that to the touch, it caused him no pain. He also found that by concentrating, he was able to manipulate the course of the flame as well. A creak in the hall caused his concentration to be interrupted, and the match fell to the floor, setting the house on fire. John, scared witless, made it out safely, but his parents, who were sound asleep, perished in the blaze.

Convinced that it was humanity's fault for cursing him with his fire-controlling abilities, John set out on a run of terrorist like attacks, carried out on public locations, as a way of avenging his deceased parents. "The Flame", as he now referred to himself, seemed to be uncontrollable, until he was sought out by the Supervillain Magnetus, and enticed to join the Brotherhood of Evil, so that his revenge upon humanity could be properly completed.....

Black Thomas (Black Tom Cassidy)
Thomas Cassidy was the son of a prosperous Irish family. However, he was also an embarrassment to them. With his penchant for gambling and getting into fights, he came to be referred to as the black sheep of the family. Of course, something that even they did not know was that he was gited with powers. Specifically, he could fire energy blasts through objects that were wooden. As such, he was always seen carrying around a shillelagh, which he would explain as being for self-defense. One night, when he became drunk, he got into a fight with a much-larger man. In his drunken stupor, he held up his cudgel and blasted the man at point-blank range. Horrified by what they had seen, the people in the bar swarmed him and brought him before the cops. His parents, seeing this as the last straw, disowned him and left him to fend for himself. Angered by their betrayal, Thomas tricked the bobbies into getting him close to his shillelagh. After doing so, he used the shillelagh to escape and fled to London, now calling himself "Black Thomas". He began leading a small crime spree, calling himself to the attention of Magnetus and joining the Brotherhood of Evil.

Unuscione the Untouchable (Unus the Untouchable)
In the world of wrestling, there is no man quite like Angelo Unuscione. An immigrant from Milan, he has displayed incredible skill in fighting. With this skill of his, he managed to make some money rising through the ranks of wrestlers. While most gained their renown for their power, Angelo was most known for his ability to evade damage. In fact, he came to be known as "Unuscione the Untouchable", due to his ability to avoid even a single blow. However, there was a dark secret to his success. Angelo was a mutant, something that he would never tell for fear of persecution. He managed to avoid all of the injuries not because of quick reflexes, but because of a force field that he could create to protect himself. However, he managed to keep his secret hid well, becoming a celebrity with his skills in the ring. His success came to an end one night, when he was walking the streets along the harbor. A building had caught one fire and began tumbling downwards. Without thinking, he threw up his force field to protect himself from the falling rubble. However, a reporter caught sight of him creating the force field and took a picture. The next day, it was on the front pages. Angelo lost all of his prestige and power, being called a cheater and a freak. Reduced to wrestling in small-time clubs for small wages, he dreamed of getting his fame back. One night, he was apporached by a woman named Raven Darkhelm, who presented him with an invitation to join the Brotherhood of Evil. Angelo accepted, intent on exacting vengeance to show that he had truly earned the name "Unuscione the Untouchable".

The Stepford Twins (Stepford Cuckoos)
In her rise in the Hellfire Club, Emmelia Frost had made many a "pleasant night" with men of power to give the Club influence over London's politics. One such night had made her pregnant. Not wanting this to slow her down, she had abandoned the twins at the steps of a poor couple's home, leaving them to care for the twins. Naming them Sophie and Esme Stepford, the couple raised the girls as their own. As they grew up, they became beautiful and all the boys in their neighborhood wished to have they them. One such boy, named Quentin, had a crush on Sophie, to the point where he had tried every possible method to gain her love. Alas, Sophie did not return his affectations, which infuriated Quentin. Angered by her lack of love, he spread a vicious rumor that the two were making money on the side as ladies of the night. When the rumor spread, both Stepfords reacted, albeit differently. Sohpie broke down in tears, while Esme grew furious and wanted to kill him. In that moment, their powers emerged. They discovered that they were both psychic, though they were most powerful when they were together. Using their powers, they exacted vengeance on Quentin and then read their parents' mind to find out where they came from. Discovering that they had been the daughters of Emmelia Frost, they tracked her down and begged to join the Hellfire Club. Emmelia steadfastly refused, considering them to be fragments of the past which didn't need her attention. However, someone else was willing to pay attention: Magnetus, who offered the twins a place in his Brotherhood of Evil. Glad to have found company like them, Sophie and Esme are now simply known as the Stepford Twins.

Now, for the Fantastic Four's victorian version: the Fantast Four.

Fantastik (Mr. Fantastic)
The leader of the Fantast Four, Roderick Fantast was a prodigy, gifted with an astounding intellect. When he was a teenager to working-class parents, he managed to figure out ways to improve the machinery around the factory they worked at, improving output and safety. When the British government got word of these improvements, they took Roderick and put him in a new home: Cambridge University. There, he studied as part of a group of young geniuses under the eminent Dr. Franklin Stromson. During these studies, his roommate was Victor Von Doom, the prince of Latveria. Though Victor was brilliant, Roderick was offput by his narcissistic attitude towards his inteelect and became something of a competitor. Of course, there came another competition between them: their teacher's daughter, Suzan Stromson. Of course, Roderick won her heart in the end and they were eventually married. During his studies, Roderick had developed schematics for a new form of zeppelin. Utilizing jet bursters, one could develop a faster method of transportation. Joining him in the maiden voyage of the S.S. Fantastik were his wife, her brother (Johnathon Stromson), his childhood friend (Benjamin J. Grimm) and primary collaborator (Victor Von Doom). Thigns went well with the zeppelin until they were one-fourth of the way over the Atlantic. While out there, they came upon a large, green cloud. Passing though it, they were shocked to see it was no mere cloud. It was some new form of energy, bombarding the ship with rays of unknown origin. They were too much for the zeppelin to handle and it blew up. However, the occupants weren't hurt. Instead, they were teleported to various points across the globe. Roderick found himself in New York's harbor, stretched out in all sorts of directions. After four of them reuinted (Victor had fled to Latveria, refusing to allow anyone to see him), they wondered what to do. Roderick believed the best idea would be for them to make use of these powers for good. Thus began the Fantast Four.

Lady Shade (Invisible Woman)
Suzan Stromson was the daughter of Dr. Franklin Stromson. While she was still limited in what she could do because of social expectations, her father did give her room to stimulate herself intellectually. In particular, he gave her full roam of Cambridge's campuses and libraries. It's during her visits to Cambridge that she gained the attention of two men: Roderick Fantast and Victor Von Doom. Although Victor tried to sway her through his wealth and prestige, she fell for Roderick's good-hearted nature. After a lengthy courtship where their love for each other grew, they were married and she became known as Suzan Fantast. However, things were taken to a new level with the incident. After the explosion, she found herself in a back alley in London. She initially proved to be a frightening sight, as she had turned invisible and appeared to people as a floating dress. While trying to calm people down, she found that she could cast force fields around her and wherever she chose to project them. After reuniting with the others (and turning herself visible once more), she became a member of the Fantast Four under the name of Lady Shade.

Fire-Man (Human Torch)
Jonathon Stromson was the brother of Suzan Stromson and son of Dr. Franklin Stromson. Though he had a creative mind like his father, he had no interest in boring studies. Rather, he pursued the nightlife, wooing women and drinking his cares away. Thus, he became something of a bane to Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Sciences. As such, his father had him transferred to a facility where they worked on new machines for the military. In particular, this facility was currently working on new methods of flight. Of course, Johnathon merely used the tech here to charm women with the promise of flight. His antics were viewed as unbefitting of him. One man who grew tired of them was Benjamin J. Grimm, although it was more because Johnathon was always poking some light fun at him. When it came time for the maiden voyage of the S.S. Fantastik, he was one of the pilots chosen personally by Roderick Fantast. After the explosion, he was found in Paris, his body burning yet he felt no pain. While running in a panic, over this, he leapt off a bridge and found that he could fly due to the flames. When the four had reunited, he joined the Fantast Four as Fire-Man.

Thunderfist (The Thing)
Scarred as a child because of a factory accident, Benjamin J. Grimm was the childhood friend of Roderick Fantast. Whereas most would be unnerved by his exterior, Roderick could tell that there was a kind heart beneath it. They would hang out together, using Roderick's knowledge and Benjamin's strength to improve their neighborhood. When Roderick had been taken away to study and develop his mind, Benjamin seeked to join him in making an impact. To that end, he moved to Cambridge and took up a job within the military as a soldier and test subject. Part of his duties as a test subject was to pilot the flight machines being developed. Though he enjoyed his work, he came to hate a fellow pilot: Johnathon Stromson. He was always sick of Johnathon poking fun at his scars and using the prototypes for "personal use". When it came time for the flight of the S.S. Fantastik, he was chosen by Roderick to pilot the zeppelin. After the explosion, he was discovered within Liverpool. There, he found that his whole body now had a rocky exterior. While he had gained incredible strength and durability, people were frightened by his new form. After reuniting with the others, he joined his old friend's new groups of heroes as Thunderfist.

What in particular didn't you like about them? The circus idea stems from a very rough idea someone else had for them. The rest, though, is my own extension of them based on Victorian circumstances and comic source material.

In regards to the Stepford Twins, there are only two because, based on my reading of them, the main ones who really developed their own personalities were Sophie and Esme.

No problem with the circus thing (different). Most of the trouble I guess it comes from the fact that they have separated origins and don't exactly have powers. I would give for them something similar to the 1602 origin, making them pass through some sort of mistical phenonema xP

Well, most of them do have powers. Roderick had the training with the yogis which gave him elasticity, Benjamin J. Grimm had that mystical strength enhancement from the Siberian mystics and Suzan had studied magic. The only one who doesn't have powers is Johnathon and even then he managed to develop the gear necessary for him to be akin to his comic book counterpoint.

As to their separate origins, well that just happened as I developed them. Though they may be divided, they do come together in the end.

The thing is that I think that the united origin is sort of a too important part of the fantastic four mythos...
I guess you're right. While I do have links throughout their origins between them, they really must experience something together for it to truly be the Fantastic Four. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do with it.

Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of now is that origin from 1602 they are on a boat exploring and entered some sort of magical storm or something, giving them powers. In the steampunk idea you could adapt to other kind of vehicle maybe a experimental Zeppelin that Richards helped to create? They could be flying around possible trying testing it as a possible new way of traveling an them a sudden strange colorfull storm suddenly engulfs them... and so on xD

That sounds good. You'll have to wait for the new origin, though, as I'll have a bit of writing to do for their new origins.

Von Doom (Dr. Doom)
Victor Von Doom, back when he was still simply the prince of Latveria, was heralded as the latest and greatest mind within Latveria and its royal family, the Von Doom family. With his keen intellect, he managed to develop new machines to improve the general quality of life within his country. Some even believed that he was dabbling in magic to accomplish some of his achievements. As a show of goodwill, his father sent him to England to study at Cambridge. The purpose behind this was to showcase Latveria's scientific prowess to the British Empire and gain their support. While studying at Cambridge, his roommate was a native Briton named Roderick Fantast. Although Roderick was quite skilled, Victor considered himself superior. He believed that science should simply be used to advance one's power, instead of Roderick's belief in science as a way to improve society. The two became something of competitors, with one competition being the most important of all: Suzan Stromson. Victor gave her promises of royal power and took her out to expensive restaurants, but in the end she chose Roderick. For the first time in his life, Victor didn't get what he wanted. This jealousy grew through the years, compounding when Roderick and Suzan got married and the British government selected Roderick's designs for an enhanced zeppelin as their new vehicle. Though he was offered a chance by Roderick to be a part of the maiden voyage, he accepted only with the hidden intent of using his charm to talk Suzan into leaving her husband. The breaking point came, then, when the zeppelin passed through a mysterious green cloud. The zeppelin blew up, with all occupants of the ship teleported across the globe. Victor awoke in Russia, somewhere in a freezing field. Stumbling into a small town, he was horrified when he saw his reflection. His once-good looks were now scarred, with some of the inner tissue now metallic. He fled to Latveria (with all of the Russian village's inhabitants dying mysteriously), where he orchestrated the assassination of his father. Now, ruling Latveria behind a suit of armor to hide his scarred body, he blames Roderick Fantast for all of his problems and seeks to bring his wrath upon him.

Cooooool

just two bits:

Does Suzan have force fields?

I would place Thuderfist a little closer to london because it is already hard to get back home after a teleportation to the XIX south america jungle... even worse when you look like a bunch of rocks with a vague human shape.

But... I just had the idea that in South America he migth met that blind girl (Alicia I guess), who would be a native american from a tribe that might actually worshiped him and even might had given his name. :aaahhh:

edit: Saw doom bio only now. Loved it, bonus for the royal assassination. I would add that the village would be "misteriously attacked at night with no survivors".

Actually, I should go back and add force fields to Suzan's bios. Also, I'll change Benjamin's location and have him wind up in Liverpool. However, you'll see Alicia be mentioned at a later point within the bio for Puppet Master.

As for Doom, I'll include that element. Obviously, Doom's going to be angry to see his once perfect body now torn up and partially metal. The assassination occurred to me because he'd want to get as much power as possible in his grasp during his quest for revenge.

Any requests for bios you'd like to see?

maybe that one idea for a Green lantern corps?
Alright. Give me a little time to think it out. For it, I'll cover a few members of the corps, with Hal Jordan being the particular Green Lantern in this case.

Cool! don't forget sinestro

Maybe Martian Manhunter... and Mister Sinister as a kind of Dr.Moreaux (or whatever it was called)

Well, I tried to do the Order of the Green Flame (the victorian take on the Green Lantern Corps), but my computer has had a little trouble and I'll be busy for the nxt few days, so I'll be doing this in portions. The line-up you'll see for them is Ganthet, Hal Jordan, Arisia, G'nort, Kilowog, Tomar-Re and Jack T. Chance, with Sinestro starting out as a member and then becoming a villain. Anybody else worth including?

Now, for the origin of the Order, here is Ganthet.

Ganthet
Long ago, when the universe was young, there was a planet known as Oa. Here, to protect the balance of good and evil, there was a mystical green flame that had sentience. The people of Oa, a scientifically-minded world, used the flame to help govern in peace. However, as planets grew and different species came to be, the green flame foresaw the spread of evil. As such, he selected eight scientists from Oa and told them its plan. They would be the leaders of an intergalatic order of protectors, with each member given a ring to preserve justice. This ring would allow its user to fly, breathe in space and create green constructs based upon their thoughts. However, the ring would need to be recharged if used for too long and its wielder must have a mastery of fear, or else yellow things would overpower them (due to the counterbalance and fear-mongering of the yellow flame, Parallax). After laying out this plan, the green flame broke apart and spread throughout the universe, leaving behind a glowing, green orb. It is from this orb that the engineers of Oa created the first ring. Thus began the Order of the Green Flame, which now has millions of members, each assigned to protect a specific sector of the universe. The original eight scientists (now known as the Guardians) still lead the Order, having been imparted with immortality by the green flame. One such guardian is Ganthet, who leads by knowledge, yet has shown to be more empathetic to others than his fellow Guardians.

All be sure to include Kyle Rayner. I'll get around to the others after I'm through with the Order of the Green Flame, alright?

The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan Green Lantern)
Harold Jordan was a soldier for the British military. Throughout his life, there has been one thing that Harold wanted to do: soar through the skies. As such, when he was offered to test out some prototype flight machines designed by the genius Carl Ferris, he eagerly accepted. It is also during this time that he came to fall in love with Carl's lovely daughter, Carol. Of course, his life would change during one test flight. When the engine of a prototype he was piloting began to break down, he tried to steer the ship into safety. Suddenly, he was engulfed by a strange mass of green energy. The ship was pulled out to an open field. There, Harold found a highly-advanced flight ship containing an alien being. The alien introduced himself as Abin Sur. He explained that he was a member of the Order of the Green Flame and that he was dying. As such, he instructed his ring to select someone who was pure of heart and fearless. The ring chose Harold Jordan. From that point on, Harold Jordan became the Green Lantern, protector of sector 2814.

The Emerald Guardian (Kyle Rayner Green Lantern)
Kyle Rayner was a Spanish painter for hire. He spent his days using his brush to create scenes of beauty and murals of grand battles. Of course, the battles of history and images of pristine beauty weren't what captivated his imagination. Rather, he was captivated by the adventures of the "mystery men" like the Kryptonian and the Bat-Man. Partially, he wished that he could be like them. To indulge in this, he'd draw images of them for newspapers and penny dreadfuls. One night, he had a vivid dream. He dreamt that he was in some alien world and standing before a blue-skinned humanoid. The being introduced himself as Ganthet. He explained that a grand battle was to occur. According to prophecy, this war would be devastating, but a supreme being named Ion would rise above and end it (though potentially at a great price). Ganthet was not sure of who such a being would be, but something about Kyle seemed to intrigue him. Kyle then awoke from the dream, struck by how real it felt. It was then that he noticed a ring on his hand. Recognizing it as one which Ganthet presented to him, Kyle realized that he could be the kind of hero he read about. As such, he has now become the Emerald Guardian, though worried about this prophecy and the supposed price.

Here is my Kyle \o/

Just a curiosity... why do you often add "The" before the name of the character as a way to make it different?

So, what do you think of Kyle? Any critiques?

Also, I add "The" as a way to formalize a name. Formality is everpresent throughout Victorian literature and culture, so I'm simply helping the names fit more with the time.

Sorry for the short answer. Given that the original Kyle had a origin story that was connected with the death of superman, I think you did a pretty good job xD.

I would add possible just this tiny little bit of detail:

Kyle might be a pioneer in painting those Heroes, maybe even the first notorious painter xD

I'll add in that detail.

Sorry for the delays. I've been taking exams and my last one's tomorrow, so I'll plenty of time, then, to continue the Order of the Green Flame.

Yes, I have free time again! Anyway, here's some more of the Order of the Green Flame.

Arisia
Hailing from the planet Gravos IV of sector 2815, she was the teenage daughter of Fentara, that sector's protector. Unlike her by-the-book father and soldier brother, she was more artistically inclined. She spent her days designing fashion outfits for local stores, intent on living this lifestyle. However, things would change with the death of her father. The ring had to go to someone else and, instead of selectiung her brother like everyone guessed, the ring chose her. It could sense a true goodness within her and such chose her to be the sector's new guardian. Now, having met sector 2814's new protector, Harold Jordan, she has developed a crush on the Earthman.

G'nort
G'nort G'neeshmacher, hailing from a planet populated by humanoid dogs, was an embarrassment to his family. His father, a high-ranking political figure named G'newman, was G'nort as a blight to the family. G'nort was a brave and loyal fellow, though his idiocy led to him getting beat up and tricked on a regular basis. In need of some correction of his son, he made contact with G'nort's uncle G'newt. G'newt was a famous member of the Order of the Green Flame, so G'newman begged him to get G'nort in the Order. After chatting with the Order, a deal was made: G'nort would be a member, but he could only stop low-level crimes or annoyances. Now, G'nort wears his ring with pride, though it doesn't mean he's any brighter.

Kilowog
Hailing from Bolovax Vik of sector 674, Kilowog was a bruiser who served as the protector for the Order there. However, there came an event that shook his way of life. A violent race of beings known as the Weaponers of Qward made war with his world. The war took out many lives and ultimately destroyed his home planet, due to an anti-matter bomb. Since then, Kilowog has only looked back on his past in sorrow, referring to this war as "the great crisis of Bolovax". However, the Order has still found use for him. He has now been relocated to the planet Mogo, where he works as a drill instructor and trainer for new members of the Order.

Jack T. Chance
Hailing from the planet Garnet, Jack T. Chance is a crook and thief who earned his name due to his enjoyment of card games. His home planet was the bane of the Order, since new Order member lasted more than a month. With such prevalent crime and murder, it eventually gained the nickname "Hellhole". One day, when the latest Order member died in the line of duty, he instructed the ring to select someone of this world who was well-suited to deal with its problems. The ring chose Jack, who used it to take down a criminal. When the ring refused to kill the criminal, however, he took out his pistol and shot them. This breaking of Order protocal brought him before the Council of the Guardians, who were prepared to punish him. However, he pointed out that he was the first ring-bearer to actually stop a crime on this world. After much discussing, a deal was made: Jack T. Chance could still use the ring and more "aggressive tactics", but he could only use them on his planet. Also, he chooses not to wear the order uniform, preferring his old duster and ragged clothes.

Tomar-Re
Hailing from planet Xudor, Tomar-Re was a scientist who was keeping an active watch on the state of his home planet. His studies had found that the core was growing increasingly unstable and required a stellarium deposit to settle down the geologic pressure. However, government officials refused to accept his ideas, believing that there was nothing wrong with their planet. Disgusted by their apathy, he watched as tremors began occurring, resulting in full-scale tectonic shifts. Finally, unable to continue sitting by, Tomar-Re took control of government machines and proceeded to drill into the planet's inner surface. After making the successful deposit, the quakes subsuded. His heroic efforts, while ignored by his home government, were recognized by the Order of the Green Flame, who chose to make him the protector of his sector.

Sorry for all this time away.

I would just like to suggest that the others lanterns to be made a little more "victorian", or at least more primitive xP
