So, as of right now, over 300,000 are without power in Nova Scotia.
For an idea of scale, NS Power reportedly serves about 525,000 customers, and serves about 95% of the province.
So more than 70% of the province is without power right now. That will likely increase before anything is restored.

Still no power at my place. I've been either sleeping or reading comics all day.
If you need power, even just too charge your phone or anything, you are welcome at our place. Message if you want, it's absolutely not a problem.
We have been without power since Friday night. A tree came down and just missed the deck and the corner of the house. And our big fluff ball cat fell in the tub we filled yesterday and our old girl did today. That was quite the sound!
As with my offer to Nick, we have power and hot water and internet if you need or want it. Just get in touch!

The town in NL that we used to live in has been frequently featured on the news because of the amount of damage.
Probably at least 1% of the population is now homeless because their houses are literally in the sea. We don't know, because parts of town are still cut off completely.
It's a mess, and awful to witness.

I appreciate that. My parents also have power now, so if I need anything charged, I can go there.
I biked to Dartmouth Crossing to find somewhere to sit and charge things. Only place that wasn't packed was Jack Astor's. Had lunch there and charged everything.
Now I'm at Cineplex to see a movie because I really don't want to sit in a dark, powerless apartment.

Power is back. I should be showering because I’m foul. However, my sleeping bag is cozy and I’m covered in a huge cat.
I'm hanging out outside with some of my building neighbours. Literally every other building BUT OURS has power. It's infuriating.
The super is on the way. Some of us figure it's an issue with the building's breaker. Fingers crossed.
