Eye of the World audiobook.

I am going through the WoT series again on audiobook here at work over the next couple weeks to refresh before the finale comes out this fall.

Fucking amazing song, I can't stop listening. Beautiful lyrics and the acoustic version has so much emotion packed in it.

"Prelude to War" by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica Seasons 2)--Rather fitting considered today is the first day I began teaching in the new semester.

I really like those Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros videos. Definitely out there and a lot of fun.

They kinda remind me of the Polyphonic Spree a bit.

They can even make a Nirvana song a joyous thing:

Watched the finale of Scrubs on Comedy Central tonight. I was determined to find the song at the end and a quick search later, I did.

I find this song to be beautiful and simply amazing.

Holy fucking ass bagels. This song is like sex in my ears. It's like ... mutha-fookin' ear copulation.

I am now in love with the Stones.

I bought Horehound by the Dead Weather and it is a fantastic album, has a little of everything from a hint of indie rock to some bluesy sounds all the way to the opposite end of the spectrum with some Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails sounds but 3 birds is an awesome instrumental.

Leroy Holmes - Mah-nah Mah-nah

From Ultra-Lounge Vol. 18 - Bottoms Up!

Listening to these records makes me feel like I'm going through my parents' old record collection from when they were first married. And that if my dad were still around, he'd yoink the set for himself. :D

I just want to agree that this album is spectacular. I think I like it more then the last WS album, and way more then the last Raconteurs one.

I hope it it isn't just a one time deal though.

Gilda Radner. :waah::waah: She's the real-life Mabel. Except, poor Gene Wilder didn't get to grow old with her. :waah::waah:

She's great. I wish she was still around.

Me too. In high school, I did a dramatic reading of some of her autobiography. It was really touching to read.

Pretty much whatever comes up on Brutal Legend while the roommate plays.

In other words, all sorts of awesome (Judas Priest's Painkiller at the moment).

On lunch right now but had Silverstein - When Broken Is Easily Fixed playing in the car on my way home, when I go back I will be listening to the Iowa State vs. Nebraska game. Go Cyclones!
