Hold up a minute here. Whatever the intention, or however the conversation could have gone, it doesn't look like anyone was trolled here. Whether GasBandit was serious or not, he posted a video, and then we talked about it. Admittedly, most people just said 'this is stupid.' but no voices were raised in anger. Nobody insulted anyone. Nobody argued. And as far as I see it, caps lock was not even hit once.

Ah MDs. The jocks of the doctor circle. I'm sorry--I had to think of something that had never been done before to get my doctorate, not just memorize facts and complain about long shifts.
Also, I don't understand trolling. If you put something out there that's deliberately meant to evoke a reaction, why does that make you some sort of "master" or "conductor" when the reaction happens? If I hold a ball in the air, drop it, and it falls, it doesn't make me the Gravity Master. It just makes me a Doer of the Obvious.

From getting my PhD at a medical university, and having to teach future MD's certain biochem and microbiology labs, I can assure that the future of healthcare in this country is pretty bleak. A good portion of medical students are pushed along the system due to grade curves and the fact they pay tuition. Med students (my friend Tim will disagree) tend to have egos the size of the Earth with no knowledge to back up their little shitty factoids they pick up in class. That is, they can memorize but they can't critically think. To be honest, I'm surprised some of them know how to tie their shoes. I can't tell you how many labs I've run where a med student tried to convince me that a piece of dust in the microscope was a stained cell so I didn't mark off a fifth of a point on their test score. MD's are masters of shoveling bullshit in your face and telling you it's gold.
