Wonder where all the crazy religious preachers that always showed up before to blame this stuff on something the US was doing (like letting gays be themselves) are?Man, someone up there doesn't much like the Americas at the moment, huh?
Haven't you heard? This time around, God is testing the faithful - it's the story of Job! But don't worry, He won't give you more than you can handle!Wonder where all the crazy religious preachers that always showed up before to blame this stuff on something the US was doing (like letting gays be themselves) are?
Wouldn't it be funny if they where right about them being signs, but it's the guy they all voted for that turns out to be the Antichrist? and by funny, i mean to be expected.
My daughter and Aussie are camping overnight with her 3rd grade class on the north shore. I got a frantic text from a friend about the earthquake and possible tsunami warning for Hawaii. All I could think was, "Really? Of course there is going to be a tsunami. I mean, why not."And I guess we should be thankful the earthquake didn't cause a tsunami this time.
Wait, what? Wasn't the earth quake on the east coast of Mexico? I mean, I know Haiti and Hawaii sort of sound alike, but you're 10,000 kilometers awayMy daughter and Aussie are camping overnight with her 3rd grade class on the north shore. Quake was on the Pacific side of Mexico.Wait, what? Wasn't the earth quake on the east coast of Mexico? I mean, I know Haiti and Hawaii sort of sound alike, but you're 10,000 kilometers away
Yeah, it's been corrected now, but on the original map I saw (on a Belgian newspaper site) they put the epicenter east of Veracruz instead of south-east. "Oopsie".Quake was on the Pacific side of Mexico.
Hawaii is forecast to be hit with tsunami waves of 0 - 0.3 meters high, and the biggest predicted waves are under 1 M at any coast for this earthquake. My daughter and Aussie are camping overnight with her 3rd grade class on the north shore. West of Acapulco!east of Veracruz
There's nothing west of acapulco!!West of Acapulco!
It is like storm surge. The tsunami raises the water by a meter, and the wind driven waves are still on top of the rise. Also a meter of water hitting a beach at 400 mph can still cause damage.Unless I'm mistaken, aren't 1 meter waves not that uncommon or dangerous?
My keys cut another hole in another pocket of another pair of shorts! Why am I having so many pocket-related difficulties this week?! Why do my keys keep drilling through my pockets like they're made of tissue paper?! AAgghgh
I have too many keys for the gizmo on the right.
I don't have a belt or belt loops. Sigh... maybe I should start wearing shorts that do. It'd make it possible to start wearing this holster my Dad gave me with the new pistol, too...
Actually I don't think it will... and even if it did, that sounds like an excellent recipe for shooting myself in the gut.C'mon Gassy. That sweet fanny pack will hold your gun
I was expecting all the likes for this post to be from the ladies of Halforums.
And granted, it looks like it'd fit my Dad's .38 special pretty handily, too.It is a good way to carry a .380
