Everything is ready.
Anything else I should know? When does it start? What server? Easiest classes? How big can my avatar's tits be?
If you go Illuminati, I recommend
The Goon Deck. It's got lots of survivability and decent damage, so it makes a great tank spec. Just don't use
Perseverance because it doesn't help you right now. Steel Palace doesn't trigger it for some reason.
If you go Dragon, I did pretty well as
The Assassin. It's a single target DPS set using Pistols and Blood Magic with some summonable drones to add damage and root. Just don't use Sanguineous, because the Blood Magic abilities that are supposed to trigger barriers conditionally aren't doing it yet.
If you go Templar, you could try
The Preacher Deck. It's focus is on DoT abilities, but it has some extra sustenance in that you gain health anytime a dot damages someone you impair with your stuns.
Just keep in mind you still need to EARN these abilities.
Here's some quick gameplay stuff you'll want to know.
Exploiting States - there are 4 "states" that you can trigger/have triggered on you and some attacks can exploit them for big damage. I'm mainly mentioning this because they do a poor job of explaining it in-game. They are...
Hindered: This is when you Root or Slow someone.
Afflicted: This is almost always tied to DoT effects like burns and bleeds.
Impaired: This is stuff like stuns, sleeps, silences, and knockbacks.
Weakened: This is tied to debuffs.
If you have an ability that says it exploits a state, using said attack after they enter that state will trigger an effect. This is USUALLY damage, but can be other useful things like healing, lowered ability costs, or other good stuff.
Consuming - If an ability says that it "consumes all ability resources" then it means it uses up whatever resources you've gained for that weapon type. You usually only need one resource to use the ability, but having more makes it much more effective, so it's usually worth it to gather as many resources as you can before using that ability.
Crafting - Press Y to open the crafting interface. If you want to craft something, you need a crafting kit of the item type you need, the raw materials to make the item, and to know the proper layout for the item. If you don't know the layout, put an item of the same type in the breakdown slot on the crating menu. This will show you what the layout is. Generally speaking, the item will look like an outline of the same item: guns look like guns, elementalism focuses look like stick men, etc. If you need more of a resource, you can combine a stack of 5 of it's lesser type to get the next level.
The stuff used to make each item is...
Metal - Weapons and Barrier consumables
Water - Healing Gear and HoT Healing consumables
Dust - Defensive Gear and Healing Consumables
Fire - Offensive Gear and Leech consumables
Glyphs - Talismans (fit into slots on your gear) and Anima (long term buffs consumables)
EDIT - I don't know when this opens up, but I'm assuming it's ether late Friday night or early Saturday Morning. If you have a time you want to meet up and play, I'll try and make it.
