I really want that mount, but I doubt I'll get the chance to do it.I got ahead of the curve last night on attempt 192!
I missed my guild kill so I pugged..../shudderI really want that mount, but I doubt I'll get the chance to do it.
For me it's not about the mount or the achieve. It's a huge redemption for me based on how my guild viewed my performances. I was essentially scolded into my offset because my HPS were not high enough. I'm a monk dude, they will never be that high.I really want that mount, but I doubt I'll get the chance to do it.
It'll be interesting to see how it works out. I'm a bit leery too, but if it gives them a chance to make a better, more engaging main story line, I'm ok with it.After hearing that most/nearly all side quests will no longer have any quest text and be generic kill x gather y quests with no purpose I'm close to being done with WoW.
Seriously, I get the fact that the quest text was fluff for kill x gather y style quests but not even bothering to add that is just flat out laziness. I don't like the direction WoW has been going in for a long time and now with SW:TOR being such a superior MMO in terms of storyline, I don't know how much WoW has a place in my playtime anymore. This is coming from someone that's been playing since release with 10 level 90s.
Agreed. I don't mind the side quests being less in-depth as long as that means more time and effort into the main storyline of each zone. It'll be interesting to see how it works out. I'm a bit leery too, but if it gives them a chance to make a better, more engaging main story line, I'm ok with it.
To be fair, they are attempting a lot more of a radiant design. Things where you may stumble through a zone and find a sudden little story event occuring that you can take part in. That will mean a sacrifice somewhere else just from a design perspective, thus worrying less about side quests.Yeah I've never bought the -If we spend less time doing this, then we can do better on THIS!- excuse.
Why bother at all with kill x and gather y then? Why not just lower the needed xp per level instead of pointless quests with even more pointless objectives if they don't care about them anymore? That seems like an even BETTER use of resources so they can -devote more time to other things-To be fair, they are attempting a lot more of a radiant design. Gotta keep them there for a time sink. Why bother at all with kill x and gather y then? haha implying that they would let you level faster. Why bother at all with kill x and gather y then? But they've consistently nerfed the xp needed to level as they've introduced new level caps. They've been letting people level faster for a long time. Getting to 90 would probably take a week at most if you played a few hours a day and just spammed dungeons. They might not make 90-100 fast, but everything prior is borderline trivial fluff once the xpac hits.haha implying that they would let you level faster.
Trust me, I would love faster leveling rather then side quests, but I am not going to hold my breath.
A time-sink with at least some flavor/point was tolerable before. Now just for the sake of it? That's why I'm drawing the line.Gotta keep them there for a time sink.
I'm not either, but I'm probably holding my wallet.haha implying that they would let you level faster.

Honestly, I'm not really liking a lot of what they're doing either. It has potential, but we'll have to see if they can deliver on it.A time-sink with at least some flavor/point was tolerable before. Now just for the sake of it? That's why I'm drawing the line.

It's still technically a "player house" but it's going to be a static location, like the MoP farm. The whole point of the Garrison is to make the "player house" usable in game play, through the usage of followers to collect money/gear and the ability to add four more professions to your character. So, they totally gave up on player housing, huh?
Then again, that's kind of a role play feature and they're all...
"Role-play... lol"
From what I remember they said you can visit each others Garrisons since the beginning. You just have to be in a group with the person you want to visit as the party leader.Have they mentioned if you can invite other players to your garrison? And if you can join trade chat while in it?
Oi. I got to the felhounds, but it's pretty ugly. Slowly getting better though. They make it look so easy in the videos!Nice!!
I am getting to the Felhounds consistently then dying. I'm not getting my Pit Lord out of the way fast enough. There is a reason they put a repair anvil in that room
