Same reason rogues and warriors can still equip bows/guns/crossbows. A lot of people collected items and want to show them off now and then, and if you can't equip them, kind of hard to show off. Example, rogues with Thoridal and hunters with Thunderfury. They just made it so using such weapons is now entirely un-viable.
It makes me sad. My hunter has some awesome weapons. And a bag full of ammo! I'm perfectly ok with that change!
I did my first Sha kill tonight! It was fun but my computer may hate me a bit now.
Yes we won the fight. I have some sexy new boots! I now have those coins too. It was a lag fest for me when he had the smoke going on.
I also ran a few heroics tonight and I can queue for the raid finder. Has anyone used it? How long are the raids?

Raid takes between 30 mins to an hour depending on the group strength and knowledge of the fights. There are two LFRs with 3 bosses each and minimal trash between bosses.
Wow that doesn't sound bad. Is there a lock out at all?
You can do them once a week (each LFR) but can re-run them to use your Golden Coins on specfic bosses of your choice to get an extra roll chance.
Do cross zone invites work or only LFR?

Sure, I have no idea what instance would be good to run though. It would probably be good to introduce my wife to what instances are like before we get to higher level stuff anyways.

We can queue for a random and see what it gives us. My priest is 42/43. Also Shakey has planned dungeon runs later on. We can run you through some too.

Five, normal instances. Random queues were super easy, and lots of people do them.
Does it pick appropriate dungeons based on everyone's levels? Can you queue as a group? (sorry, this is all new to me).
My wife and I will probably be on tonight... most likely around 8:30 MST (I think that's 9:30 central).

I was trying as hard as I could to pull aggro from a single mob from you the whole night. I think I succeeded once. Also, thanks for summoning me out of Dire Maul after my hearthstone glitched, fighting my way out along was getting tiresome.

. Glad we could get you out. I found out they took level restrictions off of summoning stones now, which is nice. Otherwise you would have been hoofing it.

I know. I was 80, and we were still able to summon Azurephoenix, who is 40, to Stormwind with the Stockades summoning stone.
