Well, Wisconsin didn't get cheese (eh?), but then, neither did anyone else. I think we can live with brandy, bratwurst, and frozen custard (which is excellent).

Ohio should, once again, be ether be Buckeye candy or Shaker Lemon Pie.

Pretzels in PA? wtf?
Actually PA is like the pretzel capital of the US; we have Snyder's of Hanover, Philadelphia, Anderson Pretzels, ... son of a bitch.

What the hell is smettanick? GIMS'd it but it doesn't return any good results, other than some sort of cake?
Smettanick or smetannik is derived from Russian meaning sour cream. The Polish word for sour cream is śmietana or śmietanik. It's a sour cream based cake (cheese cake). How it's popular in Montana is unknown to me.
South Carolina produces more peaches, which is why we have it on our list instead.

Yeah but no one says "My South Carolina Peach" as a term of endearment. I will, however, stand behind you if you try to inject it into our colloquialisms, because I think it sounds hilarious.

I always think of blueberries, tomatoes, and corn when I think of New Jersey. But that is because of the area I lived in. I was surrounded by farms and pine trees. The town I lived in was next to the self-proclaimed Blueberry Capital of the World.

I always find it weird when some town proclaims themselves the ____ Capital of the World. Did they really do the work to figure it out?

My wife just won a gift certificate for 10 lbs in a drawing. We got some the other day, too. The boudin in it wasn't very good, though . Tasted really livery.

Aw, bummer... Bad boudin is disappointing. Congrats on your 10 lbs though!
