But fuck that was an anti-climactic ending for him, yeah.

I'm thinking the "SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER" is that LaGuerta actually captures Dexter and next season is like Prison Break: The Dexter Version. Which is pretty much how the series HAS to end.

I must say I do tend to not take to heart the words of the kid whose objections to the show don't stop him from taking home 350 large an episode to do it.

He should have swallowed his pride until the end of his contract and retired. He's only been an adult for a year, these are some serious issues he's dealing with. He has responsibilities that not many of us deal with.

Honestly, he's just another in a long list of child actors who don't grow up properly because the world they're constantly exposed to.

And speaking of children who didn't quite grow up right, I just watched the latest episode of Dexter. What I said earlier about things being anti-climactic? I take it back.

This whole season hasn't been about the big bad of the season like it has been before. Hell, we had two this season, technically. Three, if you count Hanna. But no, this whole season has been building up not to a confrontation with another big bad, but building up to the end game. I'll be honestly surprised, and a little pissed off, if Dexter isn't arrested by the end of this season. He's an engaging character, but he's a character designed from the very beginning that needs to have his fall in order to close out the show itself.

Into sixth season of Scrubs.

Musical episode: Good gods, JD and Elliot can't sing. Especially Elliot. I don't know if they told Sarah Chalke to do that for the character or if that's just how it is. It's no wonder she didn't have a song. Kelso, Janitor, Carla, Turke, Laverne--all good. (And of course Ted, but that doesn't count.)

Kelso POV episode: fantastic. I didn't even remember this episode properly, but I loved it.

Cox has always been my favorite character, but watching this series when it was on, I didn't mind JD or Elliot. Now? They're both annoying twits. I still laugh at stuff with them, but for some reason in the years since the show finished (and by that I mean season 8's end, not the med school shit) I can't stand them sometimes.

Damn straight. I feel like every character besides them was able to be enjoyable through-out the series run. JD could be a whiney douche at times and Elliot just kept setting herself up to be a damn victim. Also their stupid Willtheywontthey bull-shit got tiresome after the 3rd season. UGH! JUST STAY TOGETHER SO NO GOOD PERSON HAS TO WASTE THEIR TIME DATING YOU!

I could go on my Scrubs issues all day, but instead I will talk about Wilfred! I love this show, it is such a freakin' TRIP ! A great blend of dark humor and psychological. I gotta re-watch the original version too, haven't seen that in years.

Sarah Chalke actually can't sing, at all. She's aware of it, and goes into that in the commentary/ behind the scenes stuff. Zach Braff did actually spend summers at Musical theatre camp, as JD says he did. A lot of elements of the characters are plucked right from the actors playing them.

And I never really had that much of a problem with Elliot, but JD I absolutely hate by the third season. What a piece of shit that guy is. Dr. Cox and Dr. Kelso are the best.

Oh screw it, I love kvetching about Scrubs! The moment JD won over Elliot in season 3 and said "AH! I DON'T LOVE HER ANYMORE!" was when I began hating his character. And yet I still watched, because dammit all if the show couldn't make me laugh and have characters BESIDES THE PROTAGONIST who were interesting and enjoyable.

To be fair, the show kind of goes out acknowledging that JD went from likable to an irritating man-child. Not that that makes it any better, but at least the crew was aware.

True, one episode I found funny was when JD was taped to the ceiling and overheard a bunch of students whining about their problems in a manner similar to him and he felt it was insufferable. And next episode he was basically the same whining whiner as always.

Watching Law & Order: SVU, got to where they switch the ADA... and I really hate the replacement. She won't do plea bargains either for justice or conviction unless the captain and detectives press her hard on it, the judges and defense attorneys dance circles around her, whenever a law is brought up she stands there stunned, as if bewildered by some archaic court rule she wasn't aware of that was obvious to an audience who hasn't gone to law school, and she insists on getting involved in the investigations to the point where she's in the way.

And there are four seasons of this nitwit? Arrrgh...

Just finished watching the season finale for Dexter. The cop-outs on Dex getting away scott-free were ridiculous before, but now they've reached a new level.

I liked this season until the last couple of episodes but that could mainly be my mancrush on Ray Stevenson.

Well, I understand the first book isn't bad (and maybe the second, I can't remember) but they go so fucking insane in the bad way to where Dexter is possessed by a demon and other such shit.
