It starts as a really great show, if you suspend your disbelief a bit, but around, I think, season 3 it starts being kinda gimmicky... but most people by then are hooked with the characters. Bruce Campbell is awesome in it anyway. My dad got me the first six seasons (I didn't even know this show was still going) of Burn Notice for christmas, as he knows I'm a Bruce Campbell fan. I'm kinda leery about starting to watch them...
Burn Notice is pretty fantastic (or at least it is now, I didn't watch the first few seasons). Bruce is definitely on his A game in this show.My dad got me the first six seasons (I didn't even know this show was still going) of Burn Notice for christmas, as he knows I'm a Bruce Campbell fan. I'm kinda leery about starting to watch them...
It's a good show, but after a while it gets REALLY repetitive. My dad got me the first six seasons (I didn't even know this show was still going) of Burn Notice for christmas, as he knows I'm a Bruce Campbell fan. I'm kinda leery about starting to watch them...
That show was such a stealth hit for me. I happened to watch the "garbage fox" episode and was just like "ok wtf....."Rewatching "The Mighty Boosh." Love this show.
Gusto we are buddies but I have to call this out... I uh. This is kind of shitty as a justification for a show being good or bad! What does it matter if she is attractive! It's pretty shitty to be like "I don't watch that show since the guy doesn't turn me on" too. But this happens WAY more often to women leads than men leads (see: the rest of this thread calling her ugly).. I didn't find the female lead especially attractive, .
I know but I have to admit that I've watched some bad shows longer than I should have because there was an attractive woman in it.Gusto we are buddies but I have to call this out... I uh. Like others have said, it's a good show, especially for Campbell. I think it's lost a bit of it's charm in the past couple of seasons as it's become a bit more serious, but I still find it worth watching. My dad got me the first six seasons (I didn't even know this show was still going) of Burn Notice for christmas, as he knows I'm a Bruce Campbell fan. Watch 5 episodes and tell me you don't wanna punch the main dude in the face.Hmm. Well, I suppose I'll give it a chance, then.
I think that sums up a lot of USA shows. It starts as a really great show, if you suspend your disbelief a bit, but around, I think, season 3 it starts being kinda gimmicky... but most people by then are hooked with the characters.
