Though, if I read the comments long enough, I'm quite sure at least part of my brain would begin to agree with her. The Internet is a weird and disturbing place.

Who here is actually supporting this as a valid face of feminism? I posted it to make fun of the extremism displayed, whether parody or not it's still amusing.

Why start talking about straw men, and how every ideal or movement has extreme elements? Isn't it enough to just point at this website and laugh?

Charlie's point is that it is more frequent that people mistake feminism for misandry than misandry shows its head in the guise of feminism. The prevalence of the problems against which feminism fights is so great that it is essentially worth ignoring the raging extremist factions.

However, since most of us make fun of or expel vitriol at extremists of any type (eg Westboro Baptists), there's no reason to suggest this thread is anything other than that.

If you do come to visit us again, Femitheist, I hope you take our ribbing in good humor. Since I have 7 children, all boys, I have to admit I'd be dismayed if your worldview came to fruition, however we do enjoy hearing from others with a different perspective.
