Yep[DOUBLEPOST=1359748852][/DOUBLEPOST]Basing my description on Vincent's comment to Heather, "They look like monsters to you?" And the word from one of the creators that no, it wasn't a joke. One interpretation of the series is that you're a nutzo killer, and the whole monster thing is the way you see the world.

It occurs to me that the indie game Lone Survivor could actually also fit here, too.

I had thought that was always the interpretation of the Silent Hill games. The monsters are just manifestations of the guilt and/or insanity of the main character.

I'm still disappointed nobody's gotten this yet.

Where's that guy's voice coming from?
Why is is so damned raspy?
Why does it seem to describe exactly what I'm doing?

Destroyed AGAIN? I knew that guy was shifty. Now I gotta collect even more?

The dancing was only in the version done within the last decade.

And the Dancing got really tiresome when you make the run for promotions, sailing from Barbados to St. Estacius.

That was a gimme I'll admit, but I really wanted to stress how boring Tails levels were sans that one boss level.
  • Get arrested for a crime you didn't commit.
  • Find the man who did it.
