[PC Game] World of Warcraft: Catch All Thread

Wouldn't a tease have some kind of information? That's not a tease, that's a nothing.

That said, I would think/hope that the end game is cross-faction. All of us representing a united front against the big bad of Onyxia...er....Illidan...er....Arthas...er.....Deathwing....er....

Fuck that, I say we fight the giant turtle.

It's a tease in the same way someone would say "Hey I had a great birthday last year, you guys going to throw me another one?" and your best friend saying "It's a surprise!" It's supposed to make us all realize they are making some new "big feature" already for this expansion that we are yet unaware of.

The new feature is they're making Jay Wilson game director *snerk*

Looks like Blizzard just found a new director for the WarCraft movie after Sam Raimi backed out of the project.

Duncan Jones.

P.S. For those that don't know Duncan Jones, he is David Bowie's son, who directed movies like Moon and Source Code.

I can't imagine they would, there's so many gold sinks in the game that there's just no need. Plus the thing is already an enormous cash-cow (cash-Tauren?).

I was orginally going to say I'd have no issue with a real money AH when I was thinking of armor and such, but yeah, mats would all get funnelled to the real money AH instead of the game currency AH. If they limited it just to armor and weapons, I wouldn't have a problem just like the real money AH doesn't effect my experience in D3 at all.

D3 was used to test the waters of a RMAH, and while it's making them some decent cash, that's mostly because D3 is not a monthly fee based game. They already knew they were just going to get money off the first sale, so the RMAH is just cash on top now.

They likely wouldn't bring it to WoW because of the subscription hit it could cause, which wouldn't make that little bit they skim off the top of RMAH transactions worth the damage. Maybe if WoW goes F2P someday.

Giving it another shot, just leveling my Hunter this time around in Pandaland. Not so bad, maybe I just needed to wade in a bit slower instead of nose-diving back into the daily grind.

Wow! I watched someone try and get him today. They died three times and never got close. Did you have a healer backup?
First I tried kiting solo and on my best attempt got him halfaway-ish but ads and his evil ranged attack made it hard for me to turn him around and go down the path again. It took me a foolish amount of deaths before I tried something else.

I tried having healer backup but it didn't work for us. I'm just too squishy (as was my husband's monk because he's not 90) to take more than a hit or two. The thing hits for 135-150k if you get too close and the same with a ranged attack if you get too far so that's a lot of healing and he hits fast.

I ended up getting him with the help of my cousin's paladin who tanked him while I burned him fast and kept him slowed until the debuff wore off and then I took threat and started the tame. Even with the fast tame glyph/slow/trap it was super close.

These porcupines are a lot more evil than they looked. The pile of corpses on this guy's path on the first day of the patch was frightening.[DOUBLEPOST=1363210338][/DOUBLEPOST]If anyone would like help getting one of these guys, I would be happy to help if needed.

So my Hunter is completely built around a certain theme. I'm hoping the new dinosaurs on Isle of Thunder are tameable, because I need a Dinobot stampede like you wouldn't believe.

I don't about the the ones on the Isle of Thunder but The Isle of Giants has a ton of amazing dinosaurs and direhorns to tame!
Sweet. Still got some leveling to do but I'm hoping to get them as soon as I can. I have a few others I want to replace with better looking models, too, the fox and lynx, for example.

I'm thinking about finding a dinosaur as well. The only problem is that my stable is full and I'm not sure if I have it in me to abandon a pet that was hard to get.

I've got the Ironhide Devilsaur from Un'Goro, so I'm not super worried (though I'd have to change his name to Grimlok and get a different Ironhide). I just need a triceratops and a pterodactyl.

Sadly there's no brontosaurus, poor Sludge.

In main character news, I finally snagged Relic Hunter (20 of those blue BoAs and other such things scattered around Pandaria), and I've just about finished my Monk's xmog. Just need a Red Crane hat, which I hope to have over the weekend.

You are now one of only 3 other people that I've seen through countless LFR/LFD/BGs (myself counted) across multiple servers that have the title. Welcome to the club!

Surprisingly it wasn't tough till I hit about 16/20, then I had to hope for the really rare stuff to pop. Dread Wastes was fantastic for this since there's like 8 or so BoAs there.

I got stuck at 19/20. Then I looted the Pickaxe and it didn't count it for some reason, so I actually had to hit 21/20 to get the title. Luckily I did it in the first few weeks of MoP with all the server resets. Getting the Master's Staff from Hidden Master's Forest was the biggest challenge with all it's spawn points.

Yeah, that one was hard to find, as well as the Jinyuu staff in the river. Went from the Hozen camp to Serpent's Heart before I found it.

I give you alot of props because I was able to find out about Relic Hunter before too much info was released and before there were many level 90s even able to camp them. To do it in the last month or so? Kudos man.

I don't care about all the hate the new announcement of Hearthstone is getting, I'm excited:

It's free (you can buy 5 card packs for $1 or earn them freely by playing) and it's simple. I'm stoked.
