The ESRB actually flat out told Evony they needed to focus less on that aspect in their ads or they'd bump up their rating. It really started with that Evony game, I think. Showing mostly naked women looking like something off a Harlequin book cover with phrases like "Play a game with me, Milord" and such crap.
I thought that Evony wasn't even rated by the ESRB, and were told to stop mentioning a rating in their ads.The ESRB actually flat out told Evony they needed to focus less on that aspect in their ads or they'd bump up their rating.
If I had Skyrim on PC, I'd be downloading that right now. That's amazing.A 19 year old kid has made a 25 hour Skyrim expansion including a landmass 1/3rd as big as Skyrim itself. It's called Falskaar and is apparently better than most of the vanilla content of Skyrim. Kid's gunning for a job.

I sort of feel obliged to root for them, out of principle. Is that weird? That's not weird, is it?Good luck. If they do well, their games and studio will become so popular that EA will come along and buy them.
Sooo.. they're remaking SimLife?http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/07/16/lead-simcity-developers-leave-maxis-to-form-indie-studio/
Former SimCity Creative Directer Ocean Quigley, Gameplay Lead Dan Moskowitz, and Lead Architect Andrew Willmott have left EA to form an indie studio, Jellygrade, calling themselves “recovering ex-AAA game developers.” The trio is now working on “a simulation about the dawn of life on earth; about lava, water, rock and the emergence of the first primordial creatures,” according to a tweet from Quigley.
I was going to say Spore, but yours is actually a better example.Sooo.. they're remaking SimLife?

I think what you meant to say was "Ooh La Laaaaa."Which would be AWESOME.
Oh my god he's MOWING THE LAWN AGAIN EVERYBODY INTO THE TUNNELSI was thinking SimEarth, but SimLife works too. I actually want a SimAnt remake.
The game is actually pretty rare and in small supply. This means that, for the vast majority of people, this is probably the only way they can get it legally. I'm okay with a little price gouging, as long as it can help ensure future releases.Heh, Nintendo jacked the usual SNES VC price for it too.
Thanks for this, buying the hell out of that when I get home!filmfanatic said:To anyone with a WiiU: EarthBound is now available for the Virtual Console.
How I wish it wasn't a phone social game.
Turned my Wii into an emulation box. Still don't feel bad about it. Most use it's ever gotten.Psf, played it years ago for free on ZSNES emulator. Apparently that was the right thing to do, given the above.
Yeeeeep. I've entirely enjoyed my sons playing through SNES classics. Oldest (clone of myself) took to Earthbound which made me crazy proud. He's also gotten pretty far in Link to the Past.Turned my Wii into an emulation box. Still don't feel bad about it. Most use it's ever gotten.
