The Awesome Videos Thread (with Extra Sauce!)

Until the next season of Gravity Falls, they have been making shorts centered around some of the different characters. Here's one of them centered around Soos.

It took at least 5 tries to get through this video. Yeah, I cried.
I'm not really a dog person, so I made it in one go.
That said, when I had to put my cat Sport down last fall (only a few months before his 20th birthday), even though I handled the entire process without hesitation, I couldn't control my voice for almost an hour. By the day of his death, no other organism on this planet had spent more time with me except for my mother.

So I completely understand.
This one has something for everyone!

Hugh Herr is building the next generation of bionic limbs, robotic prosthetics inspired by nature's own designs. Herr lost both legs in a climbing accident 30 years ago; now, as the head of the MIT Media Lab’s Biomechatronics group, he shows his incredible technology in a talk that's both technical and deeply personal — with the help of ballroom dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis, who lost her left leg in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and performs again for the first time on the TED stage.
It's amazing how far we've come with this stuff in just the last 10 years.

If this was previously posted, I'm sorry. But I loved this review!
Sheeeit. That was ALL week long in the US?

We only had that on Saturday afternoon. IT WAS THE BEST FUCKING PART OF THE DAY.

So, he shits on Shnookums and Meat. And that's fair. But never mentions the 2 other shows that shared the same half hour, Pith Possum and Tex Tinstar, both of which were fantastic.

I saw a different video of those same guys, very impressed. In this one, the first song isn't cut off.

Or just go to their bandcamp and listen (although half the fun is watching the baritone sax work it).
