Are you sure you aren't confusing that with the Ferret Pledge of Allegiance?Ook ook ook ook ook,

I don't think so...This is the anthem the Librarian gave me. You don't suppose they're working together do you?Are you sure you aren't confusing that with the Ferret Pledge of Allegiance?
Ook ook ook ook ook,[quote="bhamv3, post: 1141098, member: 755"Apparently I'm part of the Orangutan Surfing Civilization. I feel like such a bad citizen, I don't even know the words to our national anthem!
Sounds like you're having prom night flashbacks, Nick.Dammit all, I SHOULD be in bed....
And yet... holy shit... I can't stop! I'm taking a very brief break right now.
Just tonight alone, I'm already pushing...!
... I'M SO CLOSE.
You can't buy these things on amazon. Plus, it's under warranty.[DOUBLEPOST=1405716442,1405716212][/DOUBLEPOST]Amazon prime comes with two day shipping. You could have had that other automation workstation back up and running before the other failed.
Slacker.
It's actually a bit on the quiet side unless you're up against the puff guard and really projecting your voice. I'd still recommend the Zalman ZM-MIC1 over this for voip/gaming.I almost bought that mic set up just for vent/gaming.
Because we bought them all together at the same time approximately 4-5 years ago and they've all been on 24/7 since then under heavy use. Also, those Snowball mics are fairly reliable. I'd be curious as to why these systems are failing.
Tire swing? I'm not familiar with this terminology.

Also, props for posting the tire swing UI graphic. It's a classic.

Apparently the issue is their production is backed up with emergency orders already. Our engineer actually offered to drive the 3.5 hours from here to there himself if he could get the workstation today, but they told him it wouldn't be ready.Wideorbit's fault for not embracing THE FUTURE.
It'd definitely be a good way to go for personal enrichment. If your automation starts to catch on, you can bet WideOrbit will drive a dump truck full of money up to your door and say "So.. wanna sell?"Sounds like the field is ripe for more competition...
DECIPHER MY YOUNG WORDS!
"My birthday is the man with the runaway brain"
I think I was talking about the man with the screaming brain, but I'm not sure.
This thing:Tire swing? I'm not familiar with this terminology.
Oh yeah, hah, I do have that on my wall, I had forgotten it.. not even realized it was in the picture. I've got other funny things there, too. A couple XKCDs, the "If Tetris has taught me anything, it's that errors pile up while accomplishments disappear" thing, and the IT motto:This thing:

Also, for a consumer-grade mic, I think the fact that they lasted about 40k hours of constant use is actually pretty impressive.
