I kinda hope the majority of that mix tape is used sporadically throughout the movie.

Preferably at the most inappropriate (and thus, most hilarious) moments.

The poster was the reason I went to be honest. Not that I wasn't looking forward to seeing what I did, because it was so good, but I would have been happy to keep everything new for when it does release. The poster was just too good to pass up. Unfortunately, it's not full sized, but it's still very cool.

I think I hit the point in the build up for this movie that I need to quit watching the trailers. The closer we get to the first, the more desperate Disney will get and start giving out too much info about the movie.

If Marvel was making movies to make DC/WB look bad, then they would have chosen a path to sure failure. Luckily they have decided to make movies that a) people enjoy 2) make money iii) have machine gun using racoons.

When I heard that Lee Pace was going to play Ronan the Accuser, it got the biggest what the fuck, really response out of me. I just couldn't see it.

He looks fucking awesome and Lee Pace is generally awesome in everything he's in.

No word on that, but I do know that Troma Entertainment co-founder Lloyd Kaufman will be making a cameo.

Yes. Lloyd Kaufman, the man who co-created the studio behind such films as The Toxic Avenger and Tromeo and Juliet, is appearing in a Disney film. What a glorious age we live in.

I was just going to go look for that in you hadn't posted it. So cool he has a bit part in this. There were rumors he was going to have a much cooler part though, which is a shame it's such a small thing but hell, cool he's there.

And not just 100%, that's 100% with 19 reviews so far, 3 being "Top reviewers" whatever that means. At least glancing through one reviewer, he seems to have pretty similar feelings about movies as I do and while it will drop, for that many to be saying it's that good, those scores have me pretty damned hyped.

I said I wasn't gonna do this for another movie this summer after most have kinda fallen well short of expectations but god damn am I ready for this.

I think the last time I was super-hyped for a movie was Hellboy. Which is a great movie, don't get me wrong. But I probably would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't bought the movie's art book a few weeks before hand and spoiled myself of the whole movie. It was my own damn fault, though. I kept wanting to look at the art and production pictures, but the book also included the full script and my eyes couldn't help themselves.

Well, I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. When they first announced this movie I thought for sure it'd bomb because of the Rocket factor. But they've done a good job of marketing the movie and keeping the focus on Starlord (even though that's still a stupid name), and clearly at this point it will do well.

I think part of the joke is that it's supposed to be a stupid name because he thought it up when he was a kid.
