CBS Circling James Corden to Replace Craig Ferguson on 'Late Late Show'
Apparently he's big in the UK.

He's retiring. Don't know if it has anything to do with being snubbed, but it sounds like he's moving on to other projects. Are they dropping Ferguson or is he retiring since he got snubbed for the big seat?
He's said 10 years was enough. He was prepared to go in June, but was persuaded to stay on through the end of the year. None of it had anything to do with not getting the 11:30 gig,Are they dropping Ferguson or is he retiring since he got snubbed for the big seat?
He had a chat show; it didn't work. Maybe now that he's done the Daily Show he would be better, but I think Colbert is a better choice. However, Ferguson was/is the best choice. And that's who should have gotten the gig. An established, hip, funny guy who is not a character and knows how to run a nightly talk show, not a comedy central show.[DOUBLEPOST=1397166831,1397166796][/DOUBLEPOST]Frankly, I think John Stewart would have been a better choice than Colbert.
Daytime? Booooooooooo.Ferguson will have a daytime game show this fall too.
Yeah but that was a fairly awful show. He was good in it but I found the title characters to be annoying and most of the supporting characters were worse. I just couldn't give a fuck about any of the relationships. If you want to see some good James Cordon, check out Gavin and Stacey. He was one of the stars of that show. He's also the lead in the upcoming screen adaptation of Into The Woods.
