Whoa, Notch is working for them?My hopes and aspirations for biowares future projects went up a notch.
Instead of planet scanning in Mass Effect, you now land on the planet and dig the minerals out yourself.Whoa, Notch is working for them?
...wait, no.
So, like in the first Mass Effect.Instead of planet scanning in Mass Effect, you now land on the planet and dig the minerals out yourself.
Yes, but with more focus on the digging. Also, after digging out the minerals, you can build stuff with them. So, like in the first Mass Effect.
Like upgrades for your ship, for instance.Yes, but with more focus on the digging. Also, after digging out the minerals, you can build stuff with them.
I hope it'll be worthwhile. If it's anything like EA trotting out the Origin name for their DRM/shop-thing, I'll be severely disappointed.http://www.escapistmagazine.com/new...rce=twitter&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=all
Activision is teasing the return of Sierra Entertainment.
I don't know what the tease means, what they're looking to do with the name brand, but I really hope it means good things. I grew up on Sierra games.
I know this is an old post to dredge up, but it seems X is now in the Archie Comics for classic Mega Man.Yes, Legends was a fantastic game series that didn't sell because of lack of advertising. It's unique (for the time and series) story emphasis and memorable characters stole the show in a game that could have been ripped straight from an anime.
Honestly? I'm mad that they cancelled Legends 3. However, they could regain some of that good will by doing SOMETHING with the franchise. Hell, why not do a comic/manga? The current Archie Comics Mega Man series is AMAZING, even better than the Sonic series they've been doing for years (and they are getting a cross-over series soon too). The fans might not be happy they aren't getting the game, but they would still love to know what happens. Mega Man Volnutt has been on the moon for over a decade!
My only question... will we still be making LODS OF EMONE?The next killing floor 2 trailer is out -
Wots that spell? LOADSAMONEY problyMy only question... will we still be making LODS OF EMONE?
As others have reminded me, the company we're nostalgic for is Squaresoft.Remember when they didn't suck so hard? They were the shit in the 90ies.
They are so bad it's sad now. Just sell your IPs to someone else. Please. You suck.
Other than PC exclusives, of course.Exclusives shouldn't exist in the day and age, gamers always lose
It is mystifying, but I think it had to do with changes in priority and leadership. And the mystifying thing is Enix made good games. Square made good games. Put them together, they make shit.
(Dragon Quest series, Grandia, ActRaiser, Star Ocean)
(TIL: Star Ocean was not a sequel to StarTropics)
I...New Silent Hill game comng... directed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro... staring Norman Reedus (Daryl from the Walking Dead).
Here's a video. Beware a stupid, shrill British woman's voice.
Wow, she's the worst person ever.New Silent Hill game comng... directed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro... staring Norman Reedus (Daryl from the Walking Dead).

You weren't kidding. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh. Here's a video. Beware a stupid, shrill British woman's voice.
Shin Megami Tensei. At this point my JRPG fix comes from the Tales series. Xillia was fantastic and the sequel's out next week.
We've gotten nothing but shit from that series for years. If we can get Del Toro on board... someone who KNOWS his horror... I think it's a good sign, even if it means we get some Kojima weirdness. Besides, Kojima has wanted to do something non-Metal Gear related for years and now is his chance.Wow, the fucking last thing Silent Hill needs is Hideo Kojima (and I fuckin' love Metal Gear).
I didn't say Del Toro was bad, just Kojima. Silent Hill has enough baggage without Hideo Kojima's fetishes. We've gotten nothing but shit from that series for years.
