that does not make what this "Warhammer" idiot did right or justified or anything.
Nobody here has claimed this, though I do see people claiming that someone else has claimed this. Listening to what @ThatNickGuy says, it sounds more that it's a matter of "kicking her when she's down" (so to speak), i.e. "don't call her ugly right after she just went into the hospital, have some class" because that's bad manners.

The corollary to this is that it would be ok to call her ugly when she is not in the hospital, unless the idea is just that it's not ok for anyone to call her ugly at any time ever, which is a patently unreasonable expectation. Everyone is ugly to someone.

Just gonna leave this here because it's easier to bitch on the Internet than it is to go out and fundraise for worthwhile groups

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. is a nonprofit society dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy for women who have experienced domestic abuse.

If you ACTUALLY give a shit about abuse, go out and do something about it instead of jumping down the throats of 'unclassy' folk on the Internets.

*sigh* That's not what I was trying to get at. Forget it, I'm out of this, now.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but that's not logically sound.

If I make fun of a kid with down syndrome's appearance when he gets hit by a car, I can't accuse people who are understandably offended of being hypocrites because they haven't gone on a Buddy Walk.[DOUBLEPOST=1407969486,1407969437][/DOUBLEPOST]
See all I understood by Jay posting this was that he is not aroused by skinny brunettes with lots of tattoos who enjoy anal sex.
Shaving the sides of the head, I think, also has a big play in such things.

Who said anything about hypocrisy? I'm saying if you're concerned with the wellbeing and feelings of abused women, send me money.

I can't find it now, but there was a picture of an even much less tactful comment about the War Machine/Christy Mack situation on imgur, showing the TMZ headline that said "MMO Fighter severely beats Porn Star girlfriend after finding her in bed with someone else" and the first facebook comment was "Aren't they both just doing their job?"

My wife dislikes them as well. On good days she refers to them as looking and smelling like dog food. Having changed a lot of diapers over the years, she has a much less appetizing comparison when she particularly opposes them.
Theres definitely something vile about watching the canned ones schlorp out of their vessel, perfectly cylindrical.

I actually *am* interested in what you have to contribute to the subject, but I completely understand if you don't want to get bogged down in all of it. Much like Gas or stieney, I will stick with a discussion long past where it is comfortable just because I want to get to the root of the matter, and I know most folks just don't have that kind of patience.[DOUBLEPOST=1407976091,1407975948][/DOUBLEPOST]

You must hate the cranberry jelly at Thanksgiving.

My grandma used to make homemade cranberry sauce, so yes. I always mistake my mother in law's cranberry jelly slices for pickled beets.
