It's not rocket science people!

C'mon that's so obvious it's like saying satin sheets are better than genital herpes!
You must not be from the west coast. Part of the reason I've loved moving to Michigan so much is because there's so many more stouts than there are IPAs here, whereas California/Oregon/Washington...yeeeeeah...

The only stout I've had was Guinness and Dragons Milk. One tasted like the elixir of the gods, while the other if not chilled properly tasted like dishwater. A Luke Warm Guiness is where good times go to die.

I thought you were going to compare Dragons Milk to dishwater. Those would be fighting words.

If you're ever back in MI, try Founders Imperial Stout. Dragons milk was my favorite until that beer.

One of my regrets from the meetup. I still had to drive back to my hotel room in Dearborn from Ann Arbor, so I had to skip some really good beers that night. :(

If you ever want any Michigan beers, just let me know and I can ship them to you. It makes me sad to know that when (well, if, but WHEN is more likely) we move out of state I will no longer have access to Short's, New Holland, Greenbrush, Frankenmuth, Founders and a slew of others. :(

Heresy. Tex and Chuck wouldn't have even had jobs had not Friz created the iconic characters that came to be the best and most popular WB had.
Tex Avery changed cartoons. People still imitate his stuff. Not say that Freleng isn't great. I really love all of their combined work. Looney Tunes is my favorite cartoon, but I just dig Avery's style. It's like ranking DaVinci, Botacelli, and Michelangelo. They're all great.

It probably says something that, of the three, Tex Avery is the one who ended up with two shows specifically centered around his work and style. One was The Tex Avery Show, which was a showcase of his cartoons, while the other was The Wacky World of Tex Avery, which paid tribute to his style with a wide cast of original characters all designed to showcase his squash-and-stretch style and fast-paced sense of humor.

I don't mean to downplay or denigrate the great work of Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng, but Tex really made an impact when it came to animation.
