The Awesome Videos Thread (with Extra Sauce!)

And here we have WHUPWHUPWHUPWHUPWHUP pants from WHUPWHUPWHUPWWWWHWHHWWHUPPP which are nylon and WWPWHHHHWHPWPPPHHHHPPHPPPP.

Windscreens are relatively easy to make (or even fake), and they easily double the quality of any video you make outdoors, especially for ones you are planning/staging ahead of time.

It's that time of year again.

The year in youtube videos was, I guess, slightly less awful than the year in pop music.

(DJ Earworm still did the soundtrack to this, too)

Celebrities aside, most of the youtubers I was able to identify individually was only because they were on "Youtubers react" a few times. But I remembered many of the videos referenced, such as the spider dog prank, the devil baby prank, the guy getting kicked in the head by the guy on the train, etc.

I knew more of them based on what happened during the video than that I actually recognized based on their faces.
(e.g., action movie kid, slo-mo guys)

I'm just glad they left Shane Dawson out this year, that guy needs to have all but one orifice superglued shut. I'm willing to let him pick which orifice.

So, The Fine Bros (of kids react, teens react, etc) have a television show on Nickelodeon now. Has Nick run out of ideas to the point that they're just filling blocks of scheduling with Youtube?

But on to the awesome video, teens react to the original Mega Man.

Some of them make it through a majority of the game without ever realizing you can shoot. There's only two buttons on the NES controller, how can you not try pressing both of them?

Because there's no tutorial level holding your hand at the beginning to show you how to do every little thing.

I know the first game was incredibly hard at some points, but dear Lord that was hard to watch.

*halfway through the first level

Exactly. Today, everything is spoon-fed to the player.

That game was brutal your first 20 or so play through's. It's a tough ass game and I'm not surprised they had a hard time with it.

Eventually you recognize the patterns. I loved this game as a kid.
