Yeah, dates love having their credentials openly checked.Hey Bananahands, you're bringing your own Pokemon team with you, right? To have her prove her credentials? I mean, yeah, lots of people lie on Tinder, but this is one claim that's easily confirmed or debunked.
You can tell a lot about a person by the Pokemon team they use.
Listen, you can't just claim to be a Pokemon master and not expect to be challenged. It's what trainers do. They're out to be the very best, and you can only prove you're the best by beating everyone else.Yeah, dates love having their credentials openly checked.
Would swipe whichever direction is correct.[DOUBLEPOST=1421806589,1421806432][/DOUBLEPOST]Not gonna lie, really thrilled for tonights tinder date.
Wait, what are you referring to? This is literally the tamest Tinder thread I've ever seen.cool transphobia ITT

Eh, I get where you're coming from. No offense intended.well you kind of implied it was terrifying, and BowieLee had the "hope it's not a dude" comment. Trans women aren't dudes. They're women.
Before. Was she drunk before she showed up? Or after?
Whoa, hang on. What "trans" are we talking? Many biologically male transvestites identify as male gender, not female.well you kind of implied it was terrifying, and BowieLee had the "hope it's not a dude" comment. Trans women aren't dudes. They're women.
Men can theoretically get pregnant.
It's just not recommended, as it requires lots of medical interference in order to work properly.
I look forward to the first actual attempt, and not just the lip service and casual musings.

For anyone who is curious, that second broken image is the same image, just encoded as a looooong base64 text string.
In CDS World, we're just below police as the most horrible people ever.LOL, at the straight guy telling the gay former drag queen that he's transphobic.
are you aware of what the word phobia means?[DOUBLEPOST=1421948694,1421948593][/DOUBLEPOST]What's wrong with implying something is terrifying to you, anyway? Tolerant does equal like. I'm terrified by the idea of eating pickled beets, but if you enjoy them, please continue.
Being gay isn't some shield to never being misogynistic, racist, transphobic, et al.LOL, at the straight guy telling the gay former drag queen that he's transphobic.
I think equating "terrifying" and "don't like/aren't interested" is where the problem lies. I don't like chocolate ice cream, but I'm not terrified of eating it. Finding out your date is trans (-vestite or -gendered) shouldn't be terrifying because there is no threat to your person. To be fearful of it perpetuates the myth that being in proximity to those who are different mean you can "catch" whatever caused their preferences, or said preferences are harmful and evil. If anything, you treat it like you would any date that wasn't going how you hoped: you politely end it and not go out anymore. You don't have to be attracted to said-person, but you shouldn't be fearful of their existence in your life. That's probably closer to tolerance. What's wrong with implying something is terrifying to you, anyway? Tolerant does equal like. I'm terrified by the idea of eating pickled beets, but if you enjoy them, please continue.
people aren't routinely murdered for having toilet paper on their shoeTerrified you'll say something stupid, or fart, or come back with toilet paper on your shoe?
Routinely, no. But it would have been just my luck to be the statistical outlier.people aren't routinely murdered for having toilet paper on their shoe
Sometimes, and I'm sure that's how you meant it, but a)we're in a forum that regularly nitpicks hyperbole (yourself included), and b)we're talking about a stereotype of a group who existence gets treated like it's a threat to daily life. I'm not going to jump to extremes and accuse anyone here of transphobia, because I don't think that's the case. I'm saying labeling this outcome as "terrifying" feels a little hyperbolic-too-far.But by that same token, "terrified" was undoubtedly hyperbole intended to mean "don't like".
Agreed. And in this thread I'd also add "mystifying" and occasionally "horrifying".Dating is just terrifying in general.
