You don't? How do you stand playing previous gen games on a non hd tv? I remember way back when first getting a ps3, before I had an hdtv, and finding the picture awful and the text hard to read because of it.Well, so much for that. We don't have a TV with HDMI compatibility, so it's a no-go. Ah well.
Doesn't bother me, really. I've been playing on crappy tv's for ages, and I don't really play Diablo for the reading experienceYou don't? How do you stand playing previous gen games on a non hd tv? Hey, pal. I've played video games on a B&W television before, and it ain't no cakewalk when the tier of your gear is supposed to be segregated by color, but if I can do that, then he should be able to play D3 on a 525i television. You don't? But the story was so engrossing and full of surprises!Doesn't bother me, really. I've been playing on crappy tv's for ages, and I don't really play Diablo for the reading experience
You will eventually not have a money problem any more. This will happen when you get your first trip to The Vault and are granted the Boon of the Hoarder. First of all, the trip to The Vault will grant you many millions of gold, and second of all the legendary gem will VASTLY increase the amount of gold you find, especially when paired with items like Kymbo's Gold and Goldskin. Just remember that gold drop amount scales with difficulty, so if you're not getting enough gold, it might be time to turn up the difficulty. But i've now run into the "not enough money" problem, which I've literally never encountered in a Diablo game before Damn gem combiner money sink!
Oh, it's worse than that. It's a loooong, expensive slog to combine 729 flawless square gems into one radiant star gem, but once you hit level 61, the lowest level gem you ever find is the marquise gem (instead of the flawless square).Damn it. I really need to upgrade It can be a slog getting the cash I need to properly Gem-Up all my characters.
Wait, so you HAVE to use Flawless?!?Oh, it's worse than that. It's a loooong, expensive slog to combine 729 flawless square gems into one radiant star gem, but once you hit level 61, the lowest level gem you ever find is the marquise gem (instead of the flawless square).

...which you can no longer do.You'll never get enough Flawless Squares to make a Radiant Star without trading other players.
Exactly. You get your name on a list and you get cool banner customizations!
...to show you have no life

PS4 and X-Box One update normally with the computer version. It's only the 360 and PS3 which are being left behind. No idea how far the PS4 follows as far as patches/updates go...But no seasonal events, that much I do know.
Anyway, since the expansion, it's a game actually worth playing if you like the genre
Aside, since I've been monopolizing this thread lately anyway... Any good and actually up to date sources of information? Diablo Wiki has its limitations (though it's good) Most builds and such I find, or info on, say, Grift key drop chances, are a year old. (I know it'll only drop in Torment and higher level is higher chance, but what the drop rate is? Some say 50% in T1, which seems unlikely given my 6 T1 runs with no stone on my seasonal and at least twice as many with my regular characters ).
I can just keep asking here, of course
I'll definitely give it another go once the Barb makes 70. I think my DH is around 20'ish?Demon Hunters are pretty squishy at first but are beasts later on!
I've seen gob packs. The Vault is beyond even that. So, while leveling through rifts, my xp partner and I entered a room... with about 50 treasure goblins in it.
SO MUCH LOOT.
I've been to the vault. I've just never seen a giant goblin herd before.DH pretty much requires mobility skills to stay alive, and they used to be the class capable of the highest damage. Since the change to 2H weapons, that's not as true any more, though they are still the fastest class when it comes to things like stuff that happens "...on-hit."
