And the glass harmonica. And the theremin.TIL Many of the "horror movie" sounds I've heard over the decades are made by one instrument: the waterphone.
Well, I knew about those already, this one was genuinely new to me.
The soundtrack to Brick was done on a wine glasses. Not played as a harp, but as percussive instruments. Damn good movie, too.
Facebook would kill for comprehensive data like that. It truly is the Era of the End of Privacy.TIL android phone users (and google itself, naturally) can see everywhere they've taken the phone their google account is associated with at

I was checking to see how far back it kept data, and I noticed at one point it disappeared for me. At first I thought "Oh, it must only store the data a couple years back" But then I noticed the exact day and route of the first day of location tracking being on again.Well hell, Coulson said it on Agents of SHIELD: "My job gets a little easier every year. People surveil themselves now."

Yeah, I think it has to do with android more than google maps, with google maps just being the method that displays the stored android location API to you in a visible format.I use an iPhone, but Google Maps is my GPS app of choice. No data. Not even going back to when I had an Evo.
I know people that spend most of their day busting people for the crap they post on Facebook. Felons are dumb.Well hell, Coulson said it on Agents of SHIELD: "My job gets a little easier every year. People surveil themselves now."
Google now is really just creepy. It knows my daily schedule better than I do. [emoji14]Yeah, I think it has to do with android more than google maps, with google maps just being the method that displays the stored android location API to you in a visible format.
I've known for a while that it's been watching me, because it always pops up "this is when you usually go to work, so here's the traffic on that route." And it does the same for where I usually go to lunch, where I usually get dinner on the way home, and of course the route home.Google now is really just creepy. Aussie and I say they're actually GLaDOS.Siri/Cortana is really HAL in disguise!
Same here, so no history for me.I always have google tracking off unless I'm navigating, or traveling (so I can use it as a GPS log of where I went sightseeing)
Aw, man, I still have my old droid 1 I could just yank the sim card from and let you have that, if you were local.I don't have a smartphone or a laptop, so...
