Guy passes out at the wheel on the highway.
Fortunately he veers off the road into farmland.

Unfortunately his car is automatic transmission.

My butt puckered up when I saw the car turn itself back toward oncoming traffic.

Do we know why this happened and why it was recording? It's a weird place for a dashcam. So I wonder how fake.

Description said it was a previously unknown medical condition, never having passed out before. It IS an odd place for a dashcam. But, his hands do go off the wheel, and when he comes around he does grab it like he's startled, well after all the impacts are over... Iono.

Not that weird a place for a dashcam, seen it like that before. IIRC, it's the standard placement for some types of insurance for younger people (get a discount but camera in the car to prove you aren't driving drunk/texting/etc. Usually angled a bit lower, actually, so you can read the speedometer as well.

The little cruise control that could.
Syncope, maybe? Though I don't know what would've caused it.

Eh, I'm pretty sure the cruise control would have disengaged if it was in use. But without an automatic transmission, the part after it spun to a sideways stop would have caused the engine to stall as the car presumably would still have been in 5th gear from the highway, and the car would have stayed stopped there. But in automatic, so long as his foot's not on the brake, it's trying to accelerate.

LOL, "I can't be seen with the ghost girl from The Ring"[DOUBLEPOST=1431116452,1431116353][/DOUBLEPOST]I only recently saw this, but goddamn, I can't remember the last time SNL made me laugh so hard.

That was funnier than I had expected it to be, and rode solely on Michael Keaton's great (and uncomfortable) performance.

Play soccer! But play it wearing these VR headsets which only show you a birds-eye view of the match.

That's kind of like some of the stuff RT's done on Immersion, for example having Geoff negotiate a Super Mario Brothers type environment while wearing a headset that would only show himself from the side - ie a side-scrolling perspective.

It's time for another Good Idea, Bad Idea.

Changing a tire whose tread is worn off.

Slicing into the still pressurized tire with a box cutter.

You would think the service station videos would be enough warning.

Of course, I brought a hi-power LED flashlight to work with me once and warned a coworker not to look directly into it because it would hurt his eyes.
"Oh, really?.....OWWW!!" Toldja.

A man finds a tape recording he made when he was 13 years old in 1977 of one his experiences watching the original Star Wars in a theater. The audience's reactions on the recording are great!

I'm guessing this is Russia? Russia is pretty much the Florida of Europe.

I wonder if the Cold War would have lasted as long as it did if we had had dash cam availability like we do today.
