If you didn't use the cheat to turn on lightsaber dismemberment, you're not playing the game correctly.Oh, Kyle Katarn.... how I've missed you.
I'm planning to start with Dark Forces and move through the series. If you didn't use the cheat to turn on lightsaber dismemberment, you're not playing the game correctly.
Seriously. JK2 is still one of my all time favorites.Oh, Kyle Katarn.... how I've missed you.
They were all available at a discount, with working emulators/patches/additions, in a pack. Gog.com, ladies and gentlemen. They may have changed in some ways, but they still manage to provide legal, safe, official ways to get old games to run on new platforms. It's kind of a bitch getting some of these older games to run well, but it's worth it. I mean Jedi Freaking Knight!!!!
And its successor (which is slightly weaker but still fun)Oh damn, GoG put up Star Trek: 25th anniversary game. YOINK.
But when do we get Elite Force?Oh damn, GoG put up Star Trek: 25th anniversary game. YOINK.
I love his portrayal as a serious actor portraying a serious actor.
The Steam versions have that too, but many of those games still require fan add ons to work properly. They were all available at a discount, with working emulators/patches/additions, in a pack. Yeah, that still works fine. Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and it's add ons are the ones that you have to finaggle with a little.I feel like I've said this here before, but I still have my original JK2 disc, and it works fine on Windows 7.
Summer Sale's due up in what, a month or two? I'm sure it'll see a big gouge in price soon.Just Cause 2 for $0.99 is insane, giving no excuse for anyone who doesn't already own it. (FYI, I've been playing it lately and it's a blast.)
I'm surprised we haven't seen a Steam sale yet, honestly. They're about due for one, aren't they?

Someone should make this the message of the day, and maybe put some kind of music with it.You mean, like, Gary's Mod, MODern Warfare, and MODular Combat?
I loved the hell out of Elite Force. Still have the disk in a box somewhere.
I think Civ IV ruined me because I honestly didn't like V as much as IV. It has its charm, I guess. How good is Civ V? Last Civ game I played was II, but I was addicted to Civ I... since my computer at the time could actually run it...
Remember Me's story isn't as compelling as it needed to be with it's highly generic gameplay... and the most interesting idea present in the game (modifying memories) isn't done enough to justify the long stretches of the game aping the Arkham series's combat with bad camera angles and controls. Basically, I spent 5 dollars to rent it for 5 days and I took it back in 2 because I couldn't give a fuck about it anymore.(Personally, I'm tempted to get Dead Rising 2 (66% off) and Remember Me (80% off). Might wait on DR2 for it to go to 75% at a later date, though.)
I remember saying the exact same thing to you when you were resisting it.http://store.steampowered.com/sale/batman/
In preparation for Arkham Knight, I imagine, Steam has a Batman sale going on right now. If you haven't played Origins, I'd say it's worth about $5. It's not as polished as the others but it's not as buggy as I'd heard.
